¹ I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.	¹ Amo il Signore, perché ascoltail grido della mia preghiera.
² Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.	² Verso di me ha teso l’orecchionel giorno in cui lo invocavo.
³ The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.	³ Mi stringevano funi di morte,ero preso nei lacci degli inferi,ero preso da tristezza e angoscia.
⁴ Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.	⁴ Allora ho invocato il nome del Signore:«Ti prego, liberami, Signore».
⁵ Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.	⁵ Pietoso e giusto è il Signore,il nostro Dio è misericordioso.
⁶ The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.	⁶ Il Signore protegge i piccoli:ero misero ed egli mi ha salvato.
⁷ Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.	⁷ Ritorna, anima mia, al tuo riposo,perché il Signore ti ha beneficato.
⁸ For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.	⁸ Sì, hai liberato la mia vita dalla morte,i miei occhi dalle lacrime,i miei piedi dalla caduta.
⁹ I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.	⁹ Io camminerò alla presenza del Signorenella terra dei viventi.
¹⁰ I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:	¹⁰ 115,1)]Ho creduto anche quando dicevo:«Sono troppo infelice».
¹¹ I said in my haste, All men are liars.	¹¹ 115,2)]Ho detto con sgomento:«Ogni uomo è bugiardo».
¹² What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?	¹² 115,3)]Che cosa renderò al Signoreper tutti i benefici che mi ha fatto?
¹³ I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.	¹³ 115,4)]Alzerò il calice della salvezzae invocherò il nome del Signore.
¹⁴ I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.	¹⁴ 115,5)]Adempirò i miei voti al Signore,davanti a tutto il suo popolo.
¹⁵ Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.	¹⁵ 115,6)]Agli occhi del Signore è preziosala morte dei suoi fedeli.
¹⁶ O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.	¹⁶ 115,7)]Ti prego, Signore, perché sono tuo servo;io sono tuo servo, figlio della tua schiava:tu hai spezzato le mie catene.
¹⁷ I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.	¹⁷ 115,8)]A te offrirò un sacrificio di ringraziamentoe invocherò il nome del Signore.
¹⁸ I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,	¹⁸ 115,9)]Adempirò i miei voti al Signoredavanti a tutto il suo popolo,
¹⁹ In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.	¹⁹ 115,10)]negli atri della casa del Signore,in mezzo a te, Gerusalemme.Alleluia.
