1 Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded.	1 “Besaléel, Oholiab et tous ceux en qui Yahvé a mis un esprit de sagesse et d’intelligence pour réaliser des œuvres d’art, tous ceux-là, feront tout ce qu’a ordonné Yahvé pour le service sacré.”
2 And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:	2 Moïse fit donc appel à Besaléel et à Oholiab, à tous les hommes intelligents à qui Yahvé avait donné quelque talent, à tous ceux qui de bon cœur voulaient s’appliquer à cette œuvre pour bien l’exécuter.
3 And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.	3 Ils retirèrent de devant Moïse les offrandes qu’avaient apportées les Israélites, pour exécuter les ouvrages destinés au service du sanctuaire. Chaque matin le peuple continuait à apporter à Moïse ses offrandes volontaires.
4 And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;	4 Un jour, tous les artisans qui travaillaient pour le sanctuaire laissèrent leur ouvrage et vinrent trouver Moïse:
5 And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make.	5 “Le peuple, dirent-ils, apporte beaucoup plus qu’il ne faut pour réaliser les travaux que Yahvé a ordonné de faire.”
6 And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.	6 Moïse donna donc un ordre et fit proclamer dans le camp: “Hommes et femmes, écoutez! N’apportez plus d’offrandes pour le sanctuaire.” Et on interdit au peuple d’en apporter davantage,
7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.	7 car ce qui avait été réuni suffisait largement pour tous les travaux que l’on avait à faire.
8 And every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made he them.	8 Parmi ceux qui travaillaient, les plus habiles firent la Demeure: 10 tentures de lin fin tressé, de pourpre violette et de pourpre rouge, d’étoffe de couleur, avec des chérubins travaillés par des artistes.
9 The length of one curtain was twenty and eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: the curtains were all of one size.	9 Chaque tenture avait une longueur de 28 coudées et une largeur de quatre coudées. Toutes les tentures avaient la même dimension.
10 And he coupled the five curtains one unto another: and the other five curtains he coupled one unto another.	10 Cinq de ces tentures furent réunies l’une à l’autre, et de même les cinq autres furent réunies l’une à l’autre.
11 And he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling: likewise he made in the uttermost side of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.	11 On fit des cordons de pourpre violette pour la lisière de la tenture qui terminait le premier assemblage, et on fit de même pour la lisière de la tenture qui terminait le second assemblage.
12 Fifty loops made he in one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the curtain which was in the coupling of the second: the loops held one curtain to another.	12 On fit donc 50 cordons pour la première tenture et 50 pour la tenture qui terminait le second assemblage. Ces cordons se faisaient face à face.
13 And he made fifty taches of gold, and coupled the curtains one unto another with the taches: so it became one tabernacle.	13 On fit également 50 agrafes d’or avec lesquelles on réunit les tentures l’une à l’autre, de telle sorte que la Demeure faisait un tout.
14 And he made curtains of goats' hair for the tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains he made them.	14 On fit des tentures de poils de chèvres pour former une tente au-dessus de la Demeure, et l’on fit ainsi 11 tentures.
15 The length of one curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits was the breadth of one curtain: the eleven curtains were of one size.	15 La longueur d’une tenture était de 30 coudées, et sa largeur de quatre coudées. Les 11 tentures avaient la même dimension.
16 And he coupled five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves.	16 On réunit d’un côté cinq tentures, et de l’autre 6.
17 And he made fifty loops upon the uttermost edge of the curtain in the coupling, and fifty loops made he upon the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.	17 On mit 50 cordons sur la lisière de la tenture qui terminait le premier assemblage, et 50 cordons sur la lisière de la tenture qui terminait le second assemblage.
18 And he made fifty taches of brass to couple the tent together, that it might be one.	18 On fit 50 agrafes de bronze pour assembler la tente, pour qu’elle forme un seul tout.
19 And he made a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers' skins above that.	19 On fit pour la tente une couverture en peaux de béliers teintes en rouge, et par-dessus, une couverture en peau de poisson.
20 And he made boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood, standing up.	20 On fit également des planches pour la Demeure, des planches en bois d’acacia posées sur champ.
21 The length of a board was ten cubits, and the breadth of a board one cubit and a half.	21 La longueur d’une planche était de 10 coudées et sa largeur d’une coudée et demie.
22 One board had two tenons, equally distant one from another: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.	22 Chaque planche avait deux tenons joints l’un à l’autre. On fit de même pour toutes les planches de la Demeure.
23 And he made boards for the tabernacle; twenty boards for the south side southward:	23 On fit des planches pour la Demeure: 20 planches pour le sud, à droite.
24 And forty sockets of silver he made under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons.	24 On mit sous les 20 planches 40 supports en argent, chaque planche ayant deux supports sous ses deux tenons.
25 And for the other side of the tabernacle, which is toward the north corner, he made twenty boards,	25 Pour le second côté de la Demeure, le côté du nord, on fit également 20 planches
26 And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.	26 avec leurs 40 supports en argent: deux supports pour chaque planche.
27 And for the sides of the tabernacle westward he made six boards.	27 On fit 6 planches pour le fond de la Demeure, du côté de l’ouest.
28 And two boards made he for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.	28 On fit enfin deux planches pour les angles de la Demeure, dans le fond.
29 And they were coupled beneath, and coupled together at the head thereof, to one ring: thus he did to both of them in both the corners.	29 Elles étaient doublées du haut en bas, formant un seul tout jusqu’au premier anneau. On fit la même chose pour les deux angles.
30 And there were eight boards; and their sockets were sixteen sockets of silver, under every board two sockets.	30 Il y avait ainsi 8 planches avec leurs supports en argent, ce qui faisait 16 supports: deux sous chaque planche.
31 And he made bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,	31 On fit des traverses en bois d’acacia:
32 And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the sides westward.	32 cinq pour les planches de l’un des côtés de la Demeure, cinq autres pour les planches de l’autre côté de la Demeure, et cinq traverses pour les planches qui formaient le fond de la Demeure, à l’ouest.
33 And he made the middle bar to shoot through the boards from the one end to the other.	33 La traverse du milieu s’étendait le long des planches, d’une extrémité à l’autre.
34 And he overlaid the boards with gold, and made their rings of gold to be places for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.	34 On recouvrit d’or les planches et les traverses, et l’on fit en or les anneaux dans lesquels passaient les traverses.
35 And he made a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: with cherubims made he it of cunning work.	35 On fit la tenture en pourpre violette, en pourpre écarlate, en tissu teint en rouge et en lin fin. On broda dessus des chérubins habilement tissés.
36 And he made thereunto four pillars of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold: their hooks were of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver.	36 On fit pour la tenture quatre colonnes d’acacia recouvertes d’or, avec des crochets en or, et l’on fondit pour elles quatre supports en argent.
37 And he made an hanging for the tabernacle door of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, of needlework;	37 Pour l’entrée de la Tente, on fit un rideau en pourpre violette, en pourpre écarlate, en étoffe de couleur et en lin fin avec des dessins variés.
38 And the five pillars of it with their hooks: and he overlaid their chapiters and their fillets with gold: but their five sockets were of brass.	38 Pour ce rideau on fabriqua cinq colonnes avec leurs crochets, on recouvrit d’or les chapiteaux et les tringles; quant aux cinq supports, ils étaient en bronze.
