Exodus 11

1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.	1 El Señor dijo a Moisés: «Voy a enviar contra el Faraón y contra Egipto una sola calamidad más, y después él los dejará partir de aquí. Más aún, cuando los haga partir, los echará de aquí definitivamente.
2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold.	2 Mientras tanto, ordena al pueblo que cada hombre pida a su vecino, y cada mujer a su vecina, objetos de plata y oro».
3 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.	3 El Señor, por su parte, hizo que el pueblo se ganara el favor de los egipcios, y el mismo Moisés llegó a gozar de gran prestigio en Egipto, tanto entre los servidores del Faraón como entre el pueblo.
4 And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:	4 Moisés dijo: «Así habla el Señor: «Hacia la medianoche, yo saldré a recorrer Egipto,
5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.	5 y morirán todos tus hijos primogénitos, desde el primogénito del Faraón, el que debe sucederle en el trono, hasta el primogénito de la esclava que maneja la máquina de moler, y todos los primogénitos del ganado.
6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.	6 Entonces resonará en todo Egipto un alarido inmenso, como nunca lo hubo ni lo habrá jamás.
7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.	7 Pero contra los israelitas –ya sean hombres o animales– ni siquiera ladrará un perro, para que ustedes sepan que el Señor hace una distinción entre Israel y Egipto».
8 And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger.	8 Luego vendrán todos tus servidores a inclinarse ante mí, y me dirán: «¡Váyanse, tú y el pueblo que está bajo tus órdenes!». Después me iré». Y lleno de indignación, Moisés se alejó de la presencia del Faraón.
9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.	9 Luego el Señor dijo a Moisés: «El Faraón no los escuchará, para que se multipliquen mis prodigios en el país de Egipto.
10 And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.	10 Moisés y Aarón realizaron todos estos prodigios delante del Faraón; pero el Señor le había endurecido el corazón, y él no dejó partir de su país a los israelitas.
