1 Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.	1 Fece anche un altare di rame, lungo venti cubiti, largo venti cubiti, alto dieci cubiti.
2 Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.	2 Fece il mare di getto, che aveva dieci cubiti, da un orlo all'altro, era perfettamente rotondo, era alto cinque cubiti. Una corda di trenta cubiti abbracciava tutta la sua circonferenza;
3 And under it was the similitude of oxen, which did compass it round about: ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about. Two rows of oxen were cast, when it was cast.	3 sotto di essa aveva figure di buoi, e, al di fuori, delle sculture, divise come in due ordini, attorniavano per dieci cubiti la superficie del mare. I buoi eran di getto.
4 It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.	4 Il mare posava sopra dodici buoi, dei quali tre erari volti a settentrione, tre a occidente, tre a mezzodì e gli ultimi tre a levante. Essi sostenevano il mare e le loro parti posteriori eran di dentro sotto il mare.
5 And the thickness of it was an handbreadth, and the brim of it like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; and it received and held three thousand baths.	5 Il mare aveva lo spessore d'un palmo, il suo orlo era come quello d'un calice o di un giglio sbocciato, e conteneva tre mila metrete.
6 He made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand,and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.	6 Fece anche dieci conche, e ne collocò cinque a destra e cinque a sinistra, per lavarvi tutto quel­lo che doveva essere offerto in olocausto; nel mare poi ci si lavavano i sacerdoti.
7 And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their form, and set them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.	7 Fece anche dieci candelabri d'oro secondo la forma prescritta, e li pose nel tempio, cinque a destra e cinque a sinistra.
8 He made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. And he made an hundred basons of gold.	8 Così pure dieci mense, e le collocò nel tempio, cinque a destra e cinque a sinistra; ed anche cento fiale d'oro.
9 Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass.	9 Fece inoltre l'atrio pei sacerdoti e il gran portico, e, nel portico, le porte, che rivestì di rame.
10 And he set the sea on the right side of the east end, over against the south.	10 Il mare lo collocò dal lato destro verso levante, dalla parte meridionale.
11 And Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basons. And Huram finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for the house of God;	11 Hiram fece le caldaie, i forchettoni, le fiale, e compì tutti i lavori del re nella casa di Dio,
12 To wit, the two pillars, and the pommels, and the chapiters which were on the top of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were on the top of the pillars;	12 cioè le due colonne cogli epistilii, i capitelli e le specie di reti che coprivano i capitelli al disopra degli epistilii,
13 And four hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were upon the pillars.	13 e le quattrocento melagrane e le due reti, messe in modo che due ordini di melagrai ne erano imiti a ciascuna delle reti che coprivano gli epistilii e i capitelli delle colonne.
14 He made also bases, and lavers made he upon the bases;	14 Fece anche le basi e le conche che pose sopra le basi,
15 One sea, and twelve oxen under it.	15 e il mare unico, i dodici buoi che eran sotto il mare,
16 The pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their instruments, did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the LORD of bright brass.	16 e caldaie, i forchettoni e le coppe. Hiram suo padre fece a Salomone tutti i vasi per la casa del Signore con rame purissimo.
17 In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredathah.	17 Il re li fece fondere nella regione del Giordano, in una terra argillosa tra Socot e Saredata.
18 Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.	18 La quantità dei vasi di rame era innumerabile da non potersi saper il peso del rame.
19 And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set;	19 Cosi Salomone fece tutti que­sti vasi della casa di Dio, e l'altare d'oro, e le mense sulle quali si mettevano i pani di proposizione.
20 Moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;	20 Fece pure d'oro finissimo i candelabri colle lampade, per far lume dinanzi all'oracolo, secondo il rito,
21 And the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, made he of gold, and that perfect gold;	21 e così pure i fiori, le lucerne e le molle d'oro. Tutte que­ste cose furon fatte d'oro finissimo.
22 And the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers, of pure gold: and the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.	22 Anche i braceri, i turiboli, le coppe e i mortai eran di oro finissimo. Le porte del tempio interiore, cioè del Santo dei Santi, eran d'intaglio; e le porte del tempio al di fuori eran d'oro. Così fu compiuto tutto il lavoro che Salomone fece nella casa del Si­gnore.
