1 Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.	1 Il fit un autel de bronze de 20 coudées de long, 20 coudées de large et 10 de haut.
2 Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.	2 Il fit la Mer en fonte, elle faisait 10 coudées de bord à bord et cinq de haut; une corde de 30 coudées en aurait fait le tour.
3 And under it was the similitude of oxen, which did compass it round about: ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about. Two rows of oxen were cast, when it was cast.	3 Des coloquintes la bordaient tout autour, il y en avait 10 par coudée: elles encerclaient la Mer. Il y avait deux rangées de coloquintes venues de fonte.
4 It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.	4 La Mer était posée sur 12 bœufs, trois tournés vers le nord, trois vers l’ouest, trois vers le sud, trois vers l’est; ils étaient tournés vers l’extérieur et portaient la Mer sur leur dos.
5 And the thickness of it was an handbreadth, and the brim of it like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; and it received and held three thousand baths.	5 Elle avait la largeur d’une main et son bord était façonné comme le bord d’une coupe, comme une fleur; elle pouvait contenir 3 000 mesures.
6 He made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand,and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.	6 Il fit 10 bassins: cinq à droite et cinq à gauche. Ils servaient pour les purifications: on y lavait ce qui servait pour l’holocauste, mais les prêtres se purifiaient dans la Mer.
7 And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their form, and set them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.	7 Il fit les 10 chandeliers dorés selon le modèle fixé et les plaça dans la première salle du Temple: cinq à droite et cinq à gauche.
8 He made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. And he made an hundred basons of gold.	8 Il fit 10 tables: on les plaça dans le Temple: 10 à droite et 10 à gauche. Il fit également 100 cruches d’or.
9 Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass.	9 Il fit la cour des prêtres et la grande cour avec leurs portes; les portes étaient recouvertes de bronze.
10 And he set the sea on the right side of the east end, over against the south.	10 Il plaça la Mer du côté droit et regardant vers le Sud.
11 And Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basons. And Huram finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for the house of God;	11 Houram fit aussi les vases, les pelles et les coupes. Houram termina donc tout le travail que le roi Salomon lui avait commandé pour la Maison de Dieu:
12 To wit, the two pillars, and the pommels, and the chapiters which were on the top of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were on the top of the pillars;	12 les deux colonnes, les deux moulures des chapiteaux en haut des colonnes, les deux filets qui couvraient les moulures des deux chapiteaux au sommet des colonnes,
13 And four hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were upon the pillars.	13 les 400 grenades des deux filets, fixées en deux rangées pour chaque filet et qui recouvraient donc les chapiteaux au sommet des colonnes,
14 He made also bases, and lavers made he upon the bases;	14 les 10 bassins avec leurs bases,
15 One sea, and twelve oxen under it.	15 la Mer et les 12 bœufs qui la soutenaient,
16 The pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their instruments, did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the LORD of bright brass.	16 les vases, les pelles, les fourchettes. Houram-Abi fit en bronze poli tous ces objets commandés par le roi Salomon pour la Maison de Yahvé.
17 In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredathah.	17 Le roi les fit fondre dans la plaine du Jourdain, près du gué d’Adam, entre Soukkoth et Sartan.
18 Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.	18 Ces objets faits par Salomon étaient si nombreux qu’on ne pouvait en compter le poids de bronze.
19 And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set;	19 Salomon fit faire tous les objets qui étaient dans la Maison de Dieu: l’autel en or et les tables pour les pains des offrandes,
20 Moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;	20 les chandeliers d’or fin et leurs lampes pour les faire brûler selon la coutume devant le Sanctuaire: ils étaient en or fin,
21 And the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, made he of gold, and that perfect gold;	21 les décorations florales, les lampes, les éteignoirs en or fin,
22 And the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers, of pure gold: and the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.	22 les couteaux, les cruches, les écuelles, les encensoirs en or fin, la porte de la Maison, les portes intérieures qui menaient au Saint des Saints, en or fin.
