1 Comme il était entré de nouveau à Capharnaüm, après quelque temps on apprit qu'il était à la maison.	1 And after some days, he again entered into Capernaum.
2 Et beaucoup se rassemblèrent, en sorte qu'il n'y avait plus de place, même devant la porte, et il leurannonçait la Parole.	2 And it was heard that he was in the house. And so many gathered that there was no room left, not even at the door. And he spoke the word to them.
3 On vient lui apporter un paralytique, soulevé par quatre hommes.	3 And they came to him, bringing a paralytic, who was being carried by four men.
4 Et comme ils ne pouvaient pas le lui présenter à cause de la foule, ils découvrirent la terrasse au-dessus de l'endroit où il se trouvait et, ayant creusé un trou, ils font descendre le grabat où gisait le paralytique.	4 And when they were not able to present him to him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where he was. And opening it, they lowered down the stretcher on which the paralytic was lying.
5 Jésus, voyant leur foi, dit au paralytique: "Mon enfant, tes péchés sont remis."	5 Then, when Jesus had seen their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”
6 Or, il y avait là, dans l'assistance, quelques scribes qui pensaient dans leurs coeurs:	6 But some of the scribes were sitting in that place and thinking in their hearts:
7 "Comment celui-là parle-t-il ainsi? Il blasphème! Qui peut remettre les péchés, sinon Dieu seul?"	7 “Why is this man speaking in this way? He is blaspheming. Who can forgive sins, but God alone?”
8 Et aussitôt, percevant par son esprit qu'ils pensaient ainsi en eux-mêmes, Jésus leur dit: "Pourquoi detelles pensées dans vos coeurs?	8 At once, Jesus, realizing in his spirit that they were thinking this within themselves, said to them: “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?
9 Quel est le plus facile, de dire au paralytique: Tes péchés sont remis, ou de dire: Lève-toi, prends tongrabat et marche?	9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up, take up your stretcher, and walk?’
10 Eh bien! pour que vous sachiez que le Fils de l'homme a le pouvoir de remettre les péchés sur laterre,	10 But so that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” he said to the paralytic:
11 je te l'ordonne, dit-il au paralytique, lève-toi, prends ton grabat et va-t'en chez toi."	11 “I say to you: Rise up, take up your stretcher, and go into your house.”
12 Il se leva et aussitôt, prenant son grabat, il sortit devant tout le monde, de sorte que tous étaientstupéfaits et glorifiaient Dieu en disant: "Jamais nous n'avons rien vu de pareil."	12 And immediately he got up, and lifting up his stretcher, he went away in the sight of them all, so that they all wondered. And they honored God, by saying, “We have never seen anything like this.”
13 Il sortit de nouveau au bord de la mer, et toute la foule venait à lui et il les enseignait.	13 And he departed again to the sea. And the entire crowd came to him, and he taught them.
14 En passant, il vit Lévi, le fils d'Alphée, assis au bureau de la douane, et il lui dit: "Suis-moi." Et, selevant, il le suivit.	14 And as he was passing by, he saw Levi of Alphaeus, sitting at the customs office. And he said to him, “Follow me.” And rising up, he followed him.
15 Alors qu'il était à table dans sa maison, beaucoup de publicains et de pécheurs se trouvaient à tableavec Jésus et ses disciples: car il y en avait beaucoup qui le suivaient.	15 And it happened that, as he sat at table in his house, many tax collectors and sinners sat at table together with Jesus and his disciples. For those who followed him were many.
16 Les scribes des Pharisiens, le voyant manger avec les pécheurs et les publicains, disaient à sesdisciples: "Quoi? Il mange avec les publicains et les pécheurs?"	16 And the scribes and the Pharisees, seeing that he ate with tax collectors and sinners, said to his disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”
17 Jésus, qui avait entendu, leur dit: "Ce ne sont pas les gens bien portants qui ont besoin de médecin,mais les malades. Je ne suis pas venu appeler les justes, mais les pécheurs."	17 Jesus, having heard this, said to them: “The healthy have no need of a doctor, but those who have maladies do. For I came not to call the just, but sinners.”
18 Les disciples de Jean et les Pharisiens étaient en train de jeûner, et on vient lui dire: "Pourquoi lesdisciples de Jean et les disciples des Pharisiens jeûnent-ils, et tes disciples ne jeûnent-ils pas?"	18 And the disciples of John, and the Pharisees, were fasting. And they arrived and said to him, “Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?”
19 Jésus leur dit: "Les compagnons de l'époux peuvent-ils jeûner pendant que l'époux est avec eux? Tantqu'il ont l'époux avec eux, il ne peuvent pas jeûner.	19 And Jesus said to them: “How can the sons of the wedding fast while the groom is still with them? During whatever time they have the groom with them, they are not able to fast.
20 Mais viendront des jours où l'époux leur sera enlevé; et alors ils jeûneront en ce jour-là.	20 But the days will arrive when the groom will be taken away from them, and then they shall fast, in those days.
21 Personne ne coud une pièce de drap non foulé à un vieux vêtement; autrement, la pièce neuve tire surle vieux vêtement, et la déchirure s'aggrave.	21 No one sews a patch of new cloth onto an old garment. Otherwise, the new addition pulls away from the old, and the tear becomes worse.
22 Personne non plus ne met du vin nouveau dans des outres vieilles; autrement, le vin fera éclater lesoutres, et le vin est perdu aussi bien que les outres. Mais du vin nouveau dans des outres neuves!"	22 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the wineskins, and the wine will pour out, and the wineskins will be lost. Instead, new wine must be put into new wineskins.”
23 Et il advint qu'un jour de sabbat il passait à travers les moissons et ses disciples se mirent à se frayerun chemin en arrachant les épis.	23 And again, while the Lord was walking through the ripe grain on the Sabbath, his disciples, as they advanced, began to separate the ears of grains.
24 Et les Pharisiens lui disaient: "Vois! Pourquoi font-ils le jour du sabbat ce qui n'est pas permis?"	24 But the Pharisees said to him, “Behold, why are they doing what is not lawful on the Sabbaths?”
25 Il leur dit: "N'avez-vous jamais lu ce que fit David, lorsqu'il fut dans le besoin et qu'il eut faim, lui etses compagnons,	25 And he said to them: “Have you never read what David did, when he had need and was hungry, both he and those who were with him?
26 comment il entra dans la demeure de Dieu, au temps du grand prêtre Abiathar, et mangea les painsd'oblation qu'il n'est permis de manger qu'aux prêtres, et en donna aussi à ses compagnons?"	26 How he went into the house of God, under the high priest Abiathar, and ate the bread of the Presence, which it was not lawful to eat, except for the priests, and how he gave it to those who were with him?”
27 Et il leur disait: "Le sabbat a été fait pour l'homme, et non l'homme pour le sabbat;	27 And he said to them: “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.
28 en sorte que le Fils de l'homme est maître même du sabbat."	28 And so, the Son of man is Lord, even of the Sabbath.”
