1 And he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.	1 Et il me montra un fleuve d'eau vive, limpide comme du cristal, qui sortait du trône de Dieu et de l'Agneau.
2 In the midst of the street thereof, and on both sides of the river, was the tree of life, bearing twelve fruits, yielding its fruits every month, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.	2 Au milieu de la place de la ville, et des deux côtés du fleuve, était l'arbre de vie, qui porte douze fruits, donnant son fruit chaque mois, et les feuilles de l'arbre sont pour la guérison des nations.
3 And there shall be no curse any more; but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and his servants shall serve him.	3 Et il n'y aura plus de malédiction; mais le trône de Dieu et de l'Agneau sera là, et Ses serviteurs Le serviront.
4 And they shall see his face: and his name shall be on their foreheads.	4 Ils verront Sa face, et Son nom sera écrit sur leurs fronts.
5 And night shall be no more: and they shall not need the light of the lamp, nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God shall enlighten them, and they shall reign for ever and ever.	5 Et il n'y aura plus de nuit, et ils n'auront point besoin de la lumière d'une lampe, ni de la lumière du soleil, parce que le Seigneur Dieu les éclairera; et ils règneront dans les siècles des siècles.
6 And he said to me: These words are most faithful and true. And the Lord God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to shew his servants the things which must be done shortly.	6 Alors il me dit: Ces paroles sont très certaines et vraies; et le Seigneur, le Dieu des esprits des prophètes, a envoyé Son Ange pour montrer à Ses serviteurs ce qui doit arriver sous peu.
7 And, Behold I come quickly. Blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book.	7 Voici, Je viens bientôt. Heureux celui qui garde les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre.
8 And I, John, who have heard and seen these things. And after I had heard and seen, I fell down to adore before the feet of the angel, who shewed me these things.	8 C'est moi Jean, qui ai entendu et vu ces choses. Et après les avoir entendues et les avoir vues, je me jetai aux pieds de l'Ange qui me les montrait, pour l'adorer.
9 And he said to me: See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them that keep the words of the prophecy of this book. Adore God.	9 Et il me dit: Garde-toi de le faire; car je suis un serviteur comme toi et tes frères les prophètes, et ceux qui gardent les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre. Adore Dieu.
10 And he saith to me: Seal not the words of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.	10 Puis il me dit: Ne scelle pas les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre; car le temps est proche.
11 He that hurteth, let him hurt still: and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is just, let him be justified still: and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still.	11 Que celui qui commet l'injustice, le commette encore; et que celui qui est souillé, se souille encore; et que celui qui est juste, pratique encore la justice; et que celui qui est saint, se sanctifie encore.
12 Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to every man according to his works.	12 Voici, Je viens bientôt, et Ma rétribution est avec Moi, pour rendre à chacun selon ses oeuvres.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.	13 Je suis l'alpha et l'oméga, le premier et le dernier, le commencement et la fin.
14 Blessed are they that wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb: that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.	14 Heureux ceux qui lavent leurs vêtements dans le sang de l'Agneau, afin d'avoir droit à l'arbre de vie, et d'entrer par les portes dans la ville.
15 Without are dogs, and sorcerers, and unchaste, and murderers, and servers of idols, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.	15 Dehors les chiens, et les magiciens, et les impudiques, et les homicides, et les idolâtres, et quiconque aime et fait le mensonge.
16 I Jesus have sent my angel, to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and stock of David, the bright and morning star.	16 Moi Jésus, j'ai envoyé mon Ange pour vous attester ces choses dans les églises. Je suis le rejeton et la postérité de David, l'étoile brillante du matin.
17 And the spirit and the bride say: Come. And he that heareth, let him say: Come. And he that thirsteth, let him come: and he that will, let him take the water of life, freely.	17 L'Esprit et l'épouse disent: Viens. Que celui qui entend, dise: Viens. Que celui qui a soif, vienne; et que celui qui le veut reçoive de l'eau de la vie gratuitement.
18 For I testify to every one that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book: If any man shall add to these things, God shall add unto him the plagues written in this book.	18 Je le déclare à quiconque entend les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre: Si quelqu'un y ajoute quelque chose, Dieu lui ajoutera à lui les plaies écrites dans ce livre;
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from these things that are written in this book.	19 et si quelqu'un retranche quelque chose des paroles du livre de cette prophétie, Dieu lui retranchera sa part du livre de vie, et de la ville sainte, et de ce qui est écrit dans ce livre.
20 He that giveth testimony of these things, saith, Surely I come quickly: Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.	20 Celui qui rend témoignage de ces choses, dit: Oui, Je viens bientôt. Amen; venez, Seigneur Jésus.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.	21 Que la grâce de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ soit avec vous tous. Amen.
