1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, and Aaron, saying:	1 Parlò Iddio a Moisè e ad Aaron, e disse loro:
2 Take the sum of the sons of Caath from the midst of the Levites, by their houses and families.	2 Tollete la gente de' figliuoli di Caat di mezzo del popolo Levitico, per tutte le case e per tutte le famiglie sue,
3 From thirty years old and upward, to fifty years old, of all that go in to stand and to minister in the tabernacle of the covenant.	3 da XXX anni insino a cinquanta, acciò che loro siano e servano nel tabernacolo.
4 This is the service of the sons of Caath:	4 E questa è la operazione che faranno i figliuoli di Caat: nel tabernacolo del patto, e (in quella parte dentro che si chiama) SANCTA SANCTORUM,
5 When the camp is to set forward, Aaron and his sons shall go into the tabernacle of the covenant, and the holy of holies, and shall take down the veil that hangeth before the door, and shall wrap up the ark of the testimony in it,	5 entreranno Aaron e li figliuoli suoi; e quando i castelli (si moveranno e) saranno da muovere, sì piglieranno quello velo dinanzi alla porta del tabernacolo, e volgerannovi dentro l'arca della testimonianza.
6 And shall cover it again with a cover of violet skins, and shall spread over it a cloth all of violet, and shall put in the bars.	6 E di sopra sì porteranno un altro copritore di pelle verde; e questo pallio distenderanno sopra per tutto, e palperanno le serrature.
7 They shall wrap up also the table of proposition in a cloth of violet, and shall put with it the censers and little mortars, the cups and bowls to pour out the libations: the leaves shall be always on it:	7 La mensa della proposizione sì la copriranno di questo pallio verde; e suso vi porranno i turiboli ei mortarioli e i bicchieri, e le tazze piene d'acqua in abbondanza; il pane sempre vi sarà suso.
8 And they shall spread over it a cloth of scarlet, which again they shall cover with a covering of violet skins, and shall put in the bars.	8 Poi porranno di sopra uno drappo verde; e sopra a questo porranno lo copritore di cuoio verde; e dopo introduceranno le stanghe (da chiudere).
9 They shall take also a cloth of violet wherewith they shall cover the candlestick with the lamps and tongs thereof and the snuffers and all the oil vessels, which are necessary for the dressing of the lamps :	9 E torranno e copriranno lo candeliere e le lucerne e le forfici sue e li purgatori (e i loro manichi) e tutti i vasi che s'adoperano ad olio, con ciò che s'adoperano a tenere le lucerne, con uno pallio verde di sopra.
10 And over all they shall put a cover of violet skins and put in the bars.	10 E poi sopra tutto porranno uno copritore di cuoio verde; ed entro porranno le stanghe (da chiudere).
11 And they shall wrap up the golden altar also in a cloth of violet, and shall spread over it a cover of violet skins, and put in the bars.	11 E involgeranno lo altare d'oro con uno pallio verde; e di sopra estenderanno uno copritore di cuoio verde, e porranno le serrature.
12 All the vessels wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, they shall wrap up in a cloth of violet, and shall spread over it a cover of violet skins, and put in the bars.	12 E tutti li vasi che si adoperano nel santuario copriranno di uno pallio verde; e di sopra estenderanno uno copritore di cuoio verde, e porranvi le serrature.
13 They shall cleanse the altar also from the ashes, and shall wrap it up in a purple cloth,	13 L'altare netteranno colla cenere, e invol gerannolo di vestimento di rosato.
14 And shall put it with all the vessels that they use in the ministry thereof, that is to say, firepans, fleshhooks and forks, pothooks and shovels. They shall cover all the vessels of the altar together with a covering of violet skins, and shall put in the bars.	14 E porranno in esso tutti i vasi che s'adoperano ad altare (cioè che siano per suo uso) cioè da tenere fuoco, le fuscinule, lo tridente (cioè uno istrumento che ha tre denti) gli uncini e li vasi del fuoco; e tutti i vasi che s'adoperano all'altare saranno coperti di cuoio verde; e (di sopra) porranno la serratura.
15 And when Aaron and his sons have wrapped up the sanctuary and the vessels thereof at the removing of the camp, then shall the sons of Caath enter in to carry the things wrapped up: and they shall not touch the vessels of the sanctuary, lest they die. These are the burdens of the sons of Caath: in the tabernacle of the covenant:	15 E quando Aaron e li suoi figliuoli avranno (in presenza del popolo tutte queste cose coperte, e) involto il santuario e tutti li suoi vasi nel levar de' loggiamenti, entreranno i figliuoli di Caat (nel santuario),. e porteranno tutte queste cose avvolte; e non ne toccassero alcuna, se non involta, però che incontanente morrebbeno. Questo è l'ufficio che avranno i figliuoli di Caat nel tabernacolo (santo) del patto.
16 And over them shall be Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, to whose charge pertaineth the oil to dress the lamps, and the sweet incense, and the sacrifice, that is always offered, and the oil of unction, and whatsoever pertaineth to the service of the tabernacle, and of all the vessels that are in the sanctuary.	16 E sopra loro sarà Eleazar, figliuolo di Aaron sacerdote, a cui sta la cura dell' olio per mettere nelle lucerne, e di porre l'incenso, e dello sacrificio che sempre si offerirà, e d'ogni unzione che si fa d'olio, e d'ogni cosa che s'appartiene all'officio del tabernacolo, e di tutti i vasi che sono nel santuario.
17 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:	17 Parlò Iddio a Moisè e ad Aaron, dicendo:
18 Destroy not the people of Caath from the midst of the Levites:	18 Non vogliate fare morire li figliuoli di Caat del mezzo de' figliuoli de' Leviti.
19 But do this to them, that they may live, and not die, by touching the holies of holies. Aaron and his sons shall go in, and they shall appoint every man his work, and shall divide the burdens that every man is to carry.	19 Ma, acciò che vivano, fate loro questo, se loro entreranno per toccare queste cose in SANCTA SANCTORUM: Aaron e i figliuoli suoi entreranno dentro, e daranno loro a ciascheduno lo suo officio, di videndo quello che debbono portare (ad ogni uomo la sua parte).
20 Let not others by any curiosity see the things that are in the sanctuary before they be wrapped up, otherwise they shall die.	20 E se, innanzi che siano vestiti, niuno ne toccasse, incontanente morrebbe.)
21 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	21 Parlò Iddio a Moisè, e disse:
22 Take the sum of the soils of Gerson also by their houses and families and kindreds.	22 Togli anco la somma della gente di Gerson, per tutte le case e famiglie, e per tutte le loro cognazioni,
23 From thirty Sears old and upward, unto fifty years old. Number them all that go in and minister in the tabernacle of the covenant.	23 da XXX anni insino a cinquanta; annumerali tutti quegli che entreranno in questo tempio) e amministreranno nel tabernacolo del patto.
24 This is the office of the family of the Gersonites :	24 Questo sarà l'ufficio della gente Gersonita,
25 To carry the curtains of the tabernacle and the roof of the covenant, the other covering, and the violet covering over all, and the hanging that hangeth in the entry of the tabernacle of the covenant,	25 di portare le cortine del tabernacolo (santo) e lo tetto e tutto lo coprimento, e sopra tutto questo lo velo di giacinto, e quello coprimento che istà dinanzi al tabernacolo del patto,
26 The curtains of the court, and the veil in the entry that is before the tabernacle. All things that pertain to the altar, the cords and the vessels of the ministry,	26 e le cortine dell' antiporta, e il velo che è nella entrata dinanzi al tabernacolo, e tutte le cose e tutte le funi che appartengono all'altare, e tutti li vasi che appartengono a quelli mistieri.
27 The sons of Gerson shall carry, by the commandment of Aaron and his sons: and each man shall know to what burden he must be assigned.	27 E quando Aaron e li figliuoli suoi lo diranno, (che portino queste cose) sì le porteranno; ciascheduno all'officio suo, portando quello che gli sarà dato.
28 This is the service of the family of the Gersonites in the tabernacle of the covenant, and they shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.	28 E questo è l'ufficio della famiglia di Gerson nel tabernacolo del patto; e costoro saranno sotto Itamar figliuolo d'Aaron sacerdote.
29 Thou shalt reckon up the sons of Merari also by the families and houses of their fathers,	29 E i figliuoli di Merari piglierai, per tutte le case e famiglie de padri loro,
30 From thirty years old and upward, unto fifty years old, all that go in to the office of their ministry, and to the service of the covenant of the testimony.	30 da XXX anni insino a cinquanta, e tutti quelli che entreranno a servire nel tabernacolo.
31 These are their burdens: They shall carry the boards of the tabernacle and the bars thereof, the pillars and their sockets,	31 L' officio loro sarà questo: che loro porte ranno le tavole del tabernacolo,
32 The pillars also of the court round about, with their sockets and pins and cords. They shall receive by account all the vessels and furniture, and so shall carry them.	32 le colonne e i capitelli, e le cornici e le cavichie, e le funi con che sono legati; tutti li vasi e la massarizia torranno per numero, e sì le porteranno.
33 This is the office of the family of the Merarites, and their ministry in the tabernacle of the covenant: and they shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.	33 E in questo si è l'ufficio della famiglia dei Meraritari nel tabernacolo del patto. Costoro saranno sotto Itamar, figliuolo d'Aaron sacerdote.
34 So Moses and Aaron and the princes of the synagogue reckoned up the sons of Caath, by their kindreds and the houses of their fathers,	34 Numerarono Moisè e Aaron, e i principi. i delle sinagoghe, i figliuoli di Caat, per tutte le co gnazioni e case loro,
35 From thirty years old and upward, unto fifty years old, all that go in to the ministry of the tabernacle of the covenant:	35 da XXX anni in suso, insino a cinquanta, tutti coloro che furono messi al servigio del tabernacolo del patto.
36 And they were found two thousand seven hundred and fifty.	36 Furono duomilia settecento cinquanta.
37 This is the number of the people of Caath that go in to the tabernacle of the covenant: these did Moses and Aaron number according to the word of the Lord by the hand of Moses.	37 Questo si è il numero del popolo di Caat, il quale popolo entroe al servizio del tabernacolo del patto; questi numerarono Moisè e Aaron, secondo che Iddio comandò a Moisè.
38 The sons of Gerson also were numbered by the kindreds and houses of their fathers,	38 E i figliuoli di Gerson sono annumerati, per tutte le loro case e cognazioni,
39 From thirty years old and upward, unto fifty years old, all that go in to minister in the tabernacle of the covenant:	39 da XXX anni insino a cinquanta; tutti quelli che entravano, e che servivano nel tabernacolo,
40 And they were found two thousand six hundred and thirty.	40 furono duomilia secentotrenta.
41 This is the people of the Gersonites, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the Lord.	41 Questo si è il popolo de' Gersoniti, che annumerò Moisè e Aaron secondo il comandamento di Dio.
42 The sons of Merari also were numbered by the kindreds and houses of their fathers,	42 E quelli di Merari, per tutte le case e co gnazioni delli padri loro,
43 From thirty years old and upward, unto fifty years old, all that go in to fulfil the rites of the tabernacle of the covenant:	43 da XXX anni insino a cinquanta, tutti coloro che entrarono al servigio del tabernacolo del patto,
44 And they were found three thousand two hundred.	44 furono tre milia ducento.
45 This is the number of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron reckoned up according to the commandment of the Lord by the hand of Moses.	45 E questo è il numero dei figliuoli di Merari, i quali annumerò Moisè e Aaron, secondo il comandamento di Dio.
46 All that were reckoned up of the Levites, and whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel took by name, by the kindreds and houses of their fathers,	46 Tutti quelli che fur numerati de' Leviti, e quelli che [numerar] fece al nome Moisè ed Aaron, case e li principi d'Israel per le cognazioni ede' padri loro,
47 From thirty years old and upward, until fifty years old, that go into the ministry of the tabernacle, and to carry the burdens,	47 da XXX anni insino a cinquanta, che entra vano al ministerio del tabernacolo, e a portar li pesi,
48 Were in all eight thousand five hundred and eighty.	48 furono tutti otto milia cinquecento ottanta.
49 Moses reckoned them up according to the word of the Lord, every one according to their office and burdens, as the Lord had commanded him.	49 E Moisè li numerò, secondo il comandamento di Dio, ciascuno secondo l'ufficio suo e la fatica sua, come Iddio gli avea comandato.
