1 Thus saith the Lord: For three crimes of Moab, and for four I will not convert him: because he hath burnt the bones of the king of Edom even to ashes.	1 Assim fala o Senhor: Pelos três crimes de Moab, e pelos quatro, não mudarei o meu decreto (de castigo). Porque queimou os ossos do rei da Idumeia até os reduzir a cinza
2 And I will seed a fire into Moab, and it shall devour the houses of Carioth: and Moab shall die with a noise, with the sound of the trumpet:	2 por isso porei fogo a Moab, e ele consumirá os edifícios de Cariot; Moab perecerá no meio do tumulto, entre gritos de guerra e sons das trombetas.
3 And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all his princes with him, saith the Lord.	3 Exterminarei o juiz (ou rei) do seu seio, e farei morrer com ele todos os seus príncipes, diz o Senhor.
4 Thus saith the Lord: For three crimes of Juda, and for four I will not convert him: because he hath cast away the law of the Lord, and hath not kept his commandments: for their idols have caused them to err, after which their fathers have walked.	4 Assim fala o Senhor: Pelos três crimes de Judá e pelos quatro, não mudarei o meu decreto (de castigo). Porque (os filhos de Judá) rejeitaram a lei do Senhor, não guardaram os seus mandamentos, porque se deixaram transviar pelos seus ídolos, (esses ídolos) após os quais tinham corrido seus pais,
5 And I will send a fire into Juda, and it shall devour the houses of Jerusalem.	5 por isso porei fogo a Judá, e ele devorará os edifícios de Jerusalém.
6 Thus saith the Lord: For three crimes of Israel, and for four I will not convert him: because he hath sold the just man for silver, and the poor man for a pair of shoes.	6 Assim fala o Senhor: Pelos três crimes de Israel e pelos quatro, não mudarei o meu decreto (de castigo). Porque vendem o justo por dinheiro, e o pobre por um par de sandálias,
7 They bruise the heads of the poor upon the dust of the earth, and turn aside the way of the humble: and the son and his father have gone to the same young woman, to profane my holy name.	7 esmagam sobre o pó da terra a cabeça do pobre, confundem os pequenos, porque o filho e o pai dormem com a mesma jovem, desonrando o meu santo nome,
8 And they sat down upon garments laid to pledge by every altar: and drank the wine of the condemned in the house of their God.	8 porque sobre as roupas, que lhes tinham sido dadas (pelo pobre) em penhor, se estendem (a banquetear-se) junto de toda a casta de altares, e bebem na casa do seu Deus o vinho proveniente de penas impostas.
9 Yet I cast out the Amorrhite before their face: whose height was like the height of cedars, and who was strong as an oak: and I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots beneath.	9 Apesar disso fui eu que exterminei diante deles os Amorreus, cuja altura era como a altura dos cedros, e que eram fortes como carvalhos; destruí o seu fruto por cima, e as suas raízes por baixo.
10 It is I that brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and I led you forty years through the wilderness, that you might possess the land of the Amorrhite.	10 Eu sou o que vos fiz sair da terra do Egito e vos conduzi no deserto durante quarenta anos, a fim de que possuísseis a terra dos Amorreus.
11 And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not so, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord?	11 Entre os vossos filhos, suscitei profetas, e, entre os vossos jovens, suscitei nazarenos. Não é assim, filhos de Israel? - diz o Senhor.
12 And you will present wine to the Nazarites: and command the prophets, saying: Prophesy not.	12 Mas vós fizestes com que os nazarenos bebessem vinho (o que lhes era proibido) e mandastes aos profetas: Não profetizeis.
13 Behold, I will screak under you as a wain screaketh that is laden with hay.	13 Eis que vou calcar-vos, como calca (a terra) um carro carregado de feno.
14 And flight shall perish from the swift, and the valiant shall not possess his strength, neither shall the strong save his life.	14 O homem ágil não poderá fugir, o forte debalde fará os seus esforços, o valente não salvará a sua vida,
15 And he that holdeth the bow shall not stand, and the swift of foot shall not escape, neither shall the rider of the horse save his life.	15 o que maneja o arco não resistirá, nem escapará o ligeiro de pés, nem o cavaleiro preservará, a sua vida,
16 And the stout of heart among the valiant shall flee away naked in that day, saith the Lord.	16 e o mais corajoso entre os valentes fugirá nu naquele dia, diz o Senhor.
