1 For behold in those days, and in that time when I shall bring back the captivity of Juda and Jerusalem:	1 Porquanto eis que nesses dias, nesse tempo, em que eu restaurar Judá e Jerusalém,
2 I will gather together all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Josaphat: and I will plead with them there for my people, and for my inheritance Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and have parted my land.	2 juntarei todas as nações, conduzi-las-ei ao vale de Josafat, e ali entrarei com elas em juízo acerca de Israel, meu povo e minha herança, a quem eles espalharam por entre as nações, e acerca da minha terra, que eles dividiram entre si.
3 And they have cast lots upon my people: and the boy they have put in the stews, and the girl they have sold for wine, that they might drink.	3 Dividiram por sortes o meu povo; davam uma criança para pagar uma cortesã e vendiam uma donzela por vinho para beberem.
4 But what have you to do with me, O Tyre, and Sidon, and all the coast of the Philistines? will you revenge yourselves on me? and if you revenge yourselves on me, I will very soon return you a recompense upon your own head.	4 Mas que sois também para mim, vós, ó Tiro e Sidónia, e todo o território dos Filisteus? Porventura quereis tirar vingança de mim? Mas, se vos quereis vingar de mim (destruindo o meu povo), farei cair imediatamente a vossa vingança sobre a vossa cabeça.
5 For you have taken away my silver and my gold: and my desirable and most beautiful things you have carried into your temples.	5 Porque vós levastes a minha prata e o meu ouro, e metestes nos vossos templos o que eu tinha de mais precioso.
6 And the children of Juda, and the children of Jerusalem you have sold to the children of the Greeks, that you might remove them far off from their own country.	6 Vendestes os filhos de Judá e os filhos de Jerusalém aos filhos dos Gregos, para os pordes longe da sua pátria.
7 Behold, I will raise them up out of the place wherein you have sold them: and I will return your recompense upon your own heads.	7 Eis que eu os tirarei do lugar em que vós os vendestes, e farei recair sobre a vossa cabeça a vossa própria vingança.
8 And I will sell your sons, and your daughters by the hands of the children of Juda, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, a nation far off, for the Lord hath spoken it.	8 Venderei os vossos filhos e as vossas filhas aos filhos de Judá, que os venderão aos Sabeus, povo remoto, é o Senhor que o declara.
9 Proclaim ye this among the nations: prepare war, rouse up the strong: let them come, let all the men of war come up.	9 Publicai isto entre as nações, declarai a guerra! Chamai os valorosos! Venham, ponham-se em marcha todos os homens de guerra.
10 Cut your ploughshares into swords, and your spades into spears. Let the weak say: I am strong.	10 Forjai espadas das relhas dos vossos arados, e lanças das vossas foucinhas. Diga (mesmo) o fraco: Eu sou um guerreiro!
11 Break forth, and come, all ye nations, from round about, and gather yourselves together: there will the Lord cause all thy strong ones to fall down.	11 Depressa! Vinde todas as nações dos contornos, e juntai-vos! Senhor, os teus valentes.
12 Let them arise, and let the nations come up into the valley of Josaphat: for there I will sit to judge all nations round about.	12 Levantem-se as nações e vão ao vale de Josafat! Ali me sentarei para julgar todas as nações em circuito.
13 Put ye in the sickles, for the harvest is ripe: come and go down, for the press is full, the fats run over: for their wickedness is multiplied.	13 Metei as fouces, porque já está madura a messe; vinde pisar, porque o lagar está cheio; as cubas deitam por fora, porque a sua malícia chegou ao cúmulo.
14 Nations, nations in the valley of destruction: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of destruction.	14 Povos, povos, (comparecei) no vale do julgamento, porque o dia do Senhor está perto, (comparecei) no vale do julgamento.
15 The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars have withdrawn their shining.	15 O Sol e a lua obscurecer-se-ão, e as estrelas retirarão o seu resplendor.
16 And the Lord shall roar out of Sion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem: and the heavens and the earth shall be moved, and the Lord shall be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.	16 O Senhor rugirá de Sião, de Jerusalém fará ouvir a sua voz; os céus e a terra serão abalados. Todavia o Senhor será um refúgio para o seu povo, uma fortaleza para os filhos de Israel.
17 And you shall know that I am the Lord your God, dwelling in Sion my holy mountain: and Jerusalem shall be holy and strangers shall pass through it no more.	17 Sabereis então que eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus, que habito no meu santo monte de Sião; Jerusalém será um lugar santo, onde os estrangeiros não tornarão mala a passar.
18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down sweetness, and the hills shall flow with milk: and waters shall flow through all the rivers of Juda: and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the Lord, and shall water the torrent of thorns.	18 Acontecerá naquele dia que os montes destilarão vinho doce, os outeiros manarão leite, e as águas Jorrarão em todas as correntes de Judá. Da casa do Senhor sairá uma fonte (maravilhosa) que regará o vale das Acácias.
19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom a wilderness destroyed: because they have done unjustly against the children of Juda, and have shed innocent blood in their land.	19 O Egipto será todo assolado, e a Idumeia ficará sendo um deserto de devastação, porque oprimiram injustamente os filhos de Judá, e derramaram na sua terra o sangue inocente.
20 And Judea shall be inhabited for ever, and Jerusalem to generation and generation.	20 Pelo contrário a Judeia será habitada eternamente, e Jerusalém de geração em geração.
21 And I will cleanse their blood which I had not cleansed: and the Lord will dwell in Sion.	21 Lavarei o seu sangue, que não tinha ainda lavado; e o Senhor habitará em Sião.
