1 Unto the end, for her that obtaineth the inheritance. A psalm of David.	1 Pour la fin, pour celle qui obtient l'héritage, psaume de David.
2 Give ear, O Lord, to my words, understand my cry.	2 Seigneur, prêtez l'oreille à mes paroles, * comprenez mon cri.
3 Hearken to the voice of my prayer, O my King and my God.	3 Soyez attentif à la voix de ma prière, * mon Roi et mon Dieu.
4 For to thee will I pray: O Lord, in the morning thou shalt hear my voice.	4 Car c'est Vous que je prierai, * Seigneur; dès le matin Vous exaucerez ma voix.
5 In the morning I will stand before thee, and will see: because thou art not a God that willest iniquity.	5 Dès le matin je me tiendrai devant Vous, et je verrai * que Vous n'êtes pas un Dieu qui aime l'iniquité.
6 Neither shall the wicked dwell near thee: nor shall the unjust abide before thy eyes.	6 Le méchant n'habitera pas auprès de Vous, * et les injustes ne subsisteront point devant Vos yeux.
7 Thou hatest all the workers of iniquity: Thou wilt destroy all that speak a lie. The bloody and the deceitful man the Lord will abhor.	7 Vous haïssez tous ceux qui commettent l'iniquité; * Vous perdrez tous ceux qui profèrent le mensonge. Le Seigneur aura en abomination l'homme sanguinaire et trompeur;*
8 But as for me in the multitude of thy mercy, I will come into thy house; I will worship towards thy holy temple, in thy fear.	8 mais moi, grâce à l'abondance de Votre miséricorde, J'entrerai dans Votre maison; * j'adorerai dans Votre saint temple, pénétré de Votre crainte.
9 Conduct me, O Lord, in thy justice: because of my enemies, direct my way in thy sight.	9 Seigneur, conduisez-moi dans Votre justice; * à cause de mes ennemis, rendez droite ma voie en Votre présence.
10 for there is no truth in their mouth; their heart is vain.	10 Car la vérité n'est point dans leur bouche; * leur coeur est vain.
11 Their throat is an open sepulchre: they dealt deceitfully with their tongues: judge them, O God. Let them fall from their devices: according to the multitude of their wickedness cast them out: for they have provoked thee, O Lord.	11 Leur gosier est un sépulcre ouvert; ils se sont servis de leurs langues pour tromper: * jugez-les, ô Dieu! Qu'ils échouent dans leurs desseins; repoussez-les selon la multitude de leurs impiétés, * parce qu'ils Vous ont irrité, Seigneur.
12 But let all them be glad that hope in thee: they shall rejoice for ever, and thou shalt dwell in them. And all they that love thy name shall glory in thee:	12 Mais que tous ceux qui espèrent en Vous se réjouissent; * ils seront éternellement dans l'allégresse, et Vous habiterez en eux. Et tous ceux qui aiment Votre Nom se glorifieront en Vous,*
13 For thou wilt bless the just. O Lord, thou hast crowned us, as with a shield of thy good will.	13 parce que Vous bénirez le juste. Seigneur, Vous nous avez entourés de Votre amour * comme d'un bouclier.
