1 Praise the Lord, ye children: praise ye the name of the Lord.	1 Alléluia! Louez, serviteurs du Seigneur, louez le nom du Seigneur!
2 Blessed be the name of the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.	2 Car il faut bénir le nom du Seigneur aujourd’hui et toujours.
3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord is worthy of praise.	3 Des terres du levant jusques en occident louez le nom du Seigneur!
4 The Lord is high above all nations; and his glory above the heavens.	4 Le Seigneur domine toutes les nations, sa gloire est bien au-dessus des cieux.
5 Who is as the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high:	5 Qui est semblable au Seigneur notre Dieu? Il siège très haut,
6 and looketh down on the low things in heaven and in earth?	6 mais il sait se pencher, il observe la terre aussi bien que le ciel.
7 Raising up the needy from the earth, and lifting up the poor out of the dunghill::	7 Il ramasse le pauvre à terre, il va chercher sur son fumier le miséreux,
8 That he may place him with princes, with the princes of his people.	8 pour lui donner un siège entre les grands, entre les nobles de son peuple.
9 Who maketh a barren woman to dwell in a house, the joyful mother of children.	9 Il donne un foyer à la femme stérile, maintenant elle est mère et joyeuse avec ses enfants!
