1 Then Baldad the Suhite answered, and I said:	1 Bildad il suchita parlò a sua volta e disse:
2 Power and terror are with him, who maketh peace in his high places.	2 "Egli possiede dominio e forza spaventosa, e stabilisce la pace nelle sue alture.
3 Is there any numbering of his soldiers? and upon whom shall not his light arise?	3 Si possono forse contare le sue schiere? E sopra chi non sorge la sua luce?
4 Can man be justified compared with God, or he that is born of a woman appear clean?	4 Come può dunque l'uomo essere giusto di fronte a Dio, e apparire puro il nato da donna?
5 Behold even the moon doth not shine, and the stars are not pure in his sight.	5 Se neppure la luna brilla e le stelle non sono pure davanti ai suoi occhi;
6 How much less man that is rottenness and the son of man who is a worm?	6 quanto meno l'uomo, questo verme, l'essere umano, questo bruco!".
