1 Then Baldad the Suhite answered, and I said:	1 Bildad di Suach prese a dire:
2 Power and terror are with him, who maketh peace in his high places.	2 «Dominio e terrore sono con lui, che impone la pace nell’alto dei cieli.
3 Is there any numbering of his soldiers? and upon whom shall not his light arise?	3 Si possono forse contare le sue schiere? E su chi non sorge la sua luce?
4 Can man be justified compared with God, or he that is born of a woman appear clean?	4 Come può essere giusto un uomo davanti a Dio e come può essere puro un nato da donna?
5 Behold even the moon doth not shine, and the stars are not pure in his sight.	5 Ecco, la luna stessa manca di chiarore e le stelle non sono pure ai suoi occhi:
6 How much less man that is rottenness and the son of man who is a worm?	6 tanto meno l’uomo, che è un verme, l’essere umano, che è una larva».
