1 And after this he said: Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the former, and I will write upon them the words which were in the tables, which thou brokest.	1 Em seguida (o Senhor) disse: Corta duas tábuas de pedra como as primeiras, e eu escreverei sobre elas as palavras que continham as tábuas que tu quebraste.
2 Be ready in the morning, that thou mayst forthwith go up into mount Sinai, and thou shalt stand with me upon the top of the mount.	2 Está pronto pela manhã, cedo, para subires logo ao monte Sinai, e estarás comigo no cume do monte. Ninguém suba contigo, nem apareça alguém por todo o monte;
3 Let no man go up with thee: and let not any man be seen throughout all the mount: neither let the oxen nor the sheep feed over against it.	3 nem mesmo os bois ou as ovelhas se apascentem defronte.
4 Then he cut out two tables of stone, such as had been before: and rising very early he went up into the mount Sinai, as the Lord had commanded him, carrying with him the tables.	4 (Moisés) pois cortou duas tábuas de pedra. como eram as primeiras, e, levantando-se de noite, subiu ao monte Sinai, conforme o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado, levando consigo as tábuas.
5 And when the Lord was come down in a cloud, Moses stood with him, calling upon the name of the Lord.	5 Tendo descido o Senhor no meio da nuvem, esteve com ele, e pronunciou o nome de Iavé.
6 And when he passed before him, he said: O the Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, patient and of much compassion, and true,	6 Passando o Senhor diante dele, exclamou; Iavé, Iavé, Deus misericordioso e clemente, paciente e de muita misericórdia, e verdadeiro,
7 Who keepest mercy unto thousands: who takest away iniquity, and wickedness, and sin, and no man of himself is innocent before thee. Who renderest the iniquity of the fathers to the children, and to the grandchildren, unto the third and fourth generation.	7 que conserva a misericórdia tem milhares de gerações, que perdoa a iniquidade, a revolta e os pecados, mas que os não deixa sem castigo, punindo a iniquidade dos pais sobre os filhos e os netos ate à terceira e quarta geração.
8 And Moses making haste, bowed down prostrate unto the earth, and adoring,	8 Imediatamente Moisés se prostrou, se curvou até à terra,
9 Said: If I have found grace in thy sight: O Lord, I beseech thee, that thou wilt go with us, (for it is a stiffnecked people,) and take away our iniquities and sin, and possess us.	9 dizendo: Senhor, se eu achei graça em tua presença, peço-te que venhas connosco (porque este povo é de cerviz dura), e que tires as nossas iniquidades e pecados, e que tomes posse de nós.
10 The Lord answered: I will make a covenant in the sight of all. I will do signs such as were never seen upon the earth, nor in any nation: that this people, in the midst of whom thou art, may see the terrible work of the Lord which I will do.	10 O Senhor respondeu: Eu farei à vista de todos a aliança, farei prodígios, que nunca jamais se viram sobre a terra, nem em alguma nação, para que este povo, no meio do qual estás, veja a obra do Senhor porque vou fazer coisas terríveis contigo.
11 Observe all things which this day I command thee: I myself will drive out before thy face the Amorrhite, and the Chanaanite, and the Hethite, and the Pherezite, and the Hevite, and the Jebusite.	11 Observa todas as coias que hoje te ordeno; eu mesmo expulsarei na tua presença o Amorreu, o Cananeu, o Heteu, o Ferezeu, o Heveu e o Jebuseu.
12 Beware thou never join in friendship with the inhabitants of that land, which may be thy ruin:	12 Abstém-te de contrair em algum tempo, com os habitantes daquela terra, amizades, (com receio de) que te sejam ocasião de ruína.
13 But destroy their altars, break their statues, and cut down their groves:	13 Destroi os seus altares, quebra as suas estátuas, e corta os seus Ascherim.
14 Adore not any strange god. The Lord his name is Jealous, he is a jealous God.	14 Não adores nenhum deus estranho. O Senhor tem por nome Zeloso, é um Deus zeloso.
15 Make no covenant with the men of those countries lest, when they have committed fornication with their gods, and have adored their idols, some one call thee to eat of the things sacrificed.	15 Não faças pacto com os homens daqueles países, a fim de que não aconteça que, depois de se terem prostituído com os seus deuses, e terem adorado as suas imagens, te chame algum para comeres das coisas imoladas.
16 Neither shalt thou take of their daughters a wife for thy son, lest after they themselves have committed fornication, they make thy sons also to commit fornication with their gods.	16 Nem tomarás as suas filhas para mulheres de teus filhos, não suceda que, depois de elas mesmos se terem prostituído com os seus deuses, façam prostituir-se também os teus filhos com os seus deuses.
17 Thou shalt not make to thyself any molten gods.	17 Não farás para ti deuses de metal fundido.
18 Thou shalt keep the feast of the unleavened bread. Seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee in the time of the month of the new corn: for in the month of the springtime thou camest out from Egypt.	18 Observarás a solenidade dos ázimos. Durante sete dias comerás ázimos, como te mandei, no mês dos trigos novos, porque no mês da Primavera é que tu saiste do Egipto.
19 All of the male kind, that openeth the womb, shall be mine. Of all beasts, both of oxen and of sheep, it shall be mine.	19 Todo o primogênito do sexo masculino será meu. (O primogênito) de todos os animais, tanto de vacas como de ovelhas, será meu.
20 The firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a sheep: but if thou wilt not give a price for it, it shall be slain. The firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem: neither shalt thou appear before me empty.	20 O primogênito do jumento resgatá-lo-ás com uma ovelha: se não o quiseres resgatar, será morto. Resgatarás o primogênito dos teus filhos, e não aparecerás na minha presença com as mãos vazias.
21 Six days shalt thou work, the seventh day thou shalt cease to plough, and to reap.	21 Trabalharás seis dias e ao sétimo repousarás, mesmo no tempo de lavrar ou de ceifar.
22 Thou shalt keep the feast of weeks with the firstfruits of the corn of thy wheat harvest, and the feast when the time of the year returneth that all things are laid in.	22 Celebrarás a solenidade das semanas por ocasião das primícias da tua messe de trigo, e a solenidade (da colheita) quando no fim do ano se recolhe tudo.
23 Three times in a year all thy males shall appear in the sight of the Almighty Lord the God of Israel.	23 Todos os varões compareçam, três vezes no ano, diante do Onipotente Senhor Deus de Israel,
24 For when I shall have taken away the nations from thy face, and shall have enlarged thy borders, no man shall lie in wait against thy land when thou shalt go up, and appear in the sight of the Lord thy God thrice in a year.	24 escorraçarei da tua vista as nações, dilatarei os teus limites e ninguém pensará invadir a tua terra, enquanto tu subires para comparecer na presença do Senhor teu Deus, três vezes no ano.
25 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice upon leaven: neither shall there remain in the morning any thing of the victim of the solemnity of the Lord.	25 Não imolarás o sangue da minha vítima com pão fermentado, e, da vítima da solenidade da Páscoa, nada ficará para de manhã.
26 The first of the fruits of thy ground thou shalt offer in the house of the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not boil a kid in the milk of his dam.	26 Oferecerás as primícias dos frutos da tua tema na casa do Senhor teu Deus. Não cozerás o cabrito no leite de sua mãe.
27 And the Lord said to Moses: Write these words by which I have made a covenant both with thee and with Israel.	27 O Senhor disse a Moisés; Escreve estas palavras, pelas quais eu fiz aliança contigo e com Israel.
28 And he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights: he neither ate bread nor drank water, and he wrote upon the tables the ten words of the covenant.	28 Moisés pois esteve ali com o Senhor quarenta dias e quarenta noites: não comeu pão, nem bebeu água, e escreveu nas tábuas as dez palavras da aliança.
29 And when Moses came down from the mount Sinai, he held the two tables of the testimony, and he knew not that his face was horned from the conversation of the Lord.	29 Descendo Moisés do monte Sinai, trazia as duas tábuas do testemunho, e não sabia que o seu rosto era resplandecente depois que tinha estado a falar com o Senhor.
30 And Aaron and the children of Israel seeing the face of Moses horned, were afraid to come near.	30 Mas Aarão e os filhos de Israel, vendo o rosto de Moisés resplandecente, tiveram medo de se aproximar dele.
31 And being called by him, they returned, both Aaron and the rulers of the congregation. And after that he spoke to them.	31 Tendo-os Moisés chamado, voltaram (a ele) tanto Aarão como os principes da sinagoga. Depois que lhes falou,
32 And all the children of Israel came to him: and he gave them in commandment all that he had heard of the Lord in mount Sinai.	32 aproximaram-se também dele todos os filhos de Israel, aos quais deu todas as ordens que tinha recebido do Senhor no monte Sinai.
33 And having done speaking, he put a veil upon his face.	33 Quando acabou de falar, pôs um véu sobre o seu rosto.
34 But when he went in to the Lord, and spoke with him, he took it away until he came forth, and then he spoke to the children of Israel all things that had been commanded him.	34 Nas ocasiões em que entrava à presença do Senhor e falava com ele, tirava o véu até sair; depois saía e dizia aos filhos de Israel tudo o que lhe tinha sido ordenado.
35 And they saw that the face of Moses when he came out was horned, but he covered his face again, if at any time he spoke to them.	35 Eles viam que a face de Moisés, ao sair, era resplandecente, porém ele cobria de novo o rosto, se tinha de lhes falar.
