2 The sons of Meselemia: Zacharias the firstborn, Jadihel the second, Zabadias the third, Jathanael the fourth,	2 Figliuoli di Meselemia: Zacharia primogenito, secondo Jadihel, terzo Zabadia, quarto Jathanael,
3 Elam the fifth, Johanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.	3 Quinto Elam, Johanan sesto, Elioenai settimo.
4 And the sons of Obededom, Semeias the firstborn, Jozabad the second, Joaha the third, Sachar the fourth, Nathanael the fifth,	4 Figliuoli di Obededom: Semeia Primogenito, secondo Jozabad, terzo oaha, Sachar quarto, Nathanael quinto,
5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Phollathi the eighth: for the Lord had blessed him.	5 Ammiel sesto, settimo Issachar, ottavo Phollathi: perocché Obededom fu benedetto dal Signore.
6 And to Semei his son were born sons, herds of their families: for they were men of great valour.	6 E Semei suo figliuolo ebbe dei figliuoli capi di loro famiglie: ed erano uomini fortissimi.
7 The sons then of Semeias were Othni, and Raphael, and Obed, Elizabad, and his brethren most valiant men: and Eliu, and Samachias.	7 Figliuoli di Semeia: Othni, e Raphael, e Obed, Elzabad, e i suoi fratelli uomini fortissimi, ed anche Eliu, e Samachia.
8 All these of the sons of Obededom: they, and their sons, and their brethren most able men for service, sixty-two of Obededom.	8 Tutti questi eran della famiglia di Obededom: eglino, e i figliuoli, e fratelli loro, uomini di gran robustezza pel lor ministero: sessantadue della casa di Obededom.
9 And the sons of Meselemia, and their brethren strong men, were eighteen.	9 I figliuoli di Meselemia, e i loro fratelli uomini fortissimi, diciotto.
10 And of Hosa, that is, of the sons of Merari: Semri the chief, (for he had not a firstborn, and therefore his father made him chief.)	10 Di Hosa, cioè della stirpe di Merari: Semri fu capo di una banda (perocché suo padre non avea il primogenito, e a lui avea dato perciò il primo luogo),
11 Helcias the second, Tabelias the third, Zacharias the fourth: all these the sons, and the brethren of Hosa, were thirteen.	11 Secondo Helcia, terzo Tabella, Zacharia quarto. Tutti questi figliuoli di Uosa insieme co' loro fratelli eran tredici.
12 Among these were the divisions of the porters, so that the chiefs of the wards, as well as their brethren, always ministered in the house of the Lord.	12 A questi fu distribuito l'ufficio di portinaj in tal maniera, che i capi delle guardie, come anche i loro fratelli servivano sempre nella casa del Signore.
13 And they cast lots equally, both little and great, by their families for every one of the gates.	13 Per ciascheduna adunque delle porte furori tirate egualmente a sorte le famiglie senza distinzione di piccolo, o di grande.
14 And the lot of the east fell to Selemias. But to his son Zacharias, a very wise and learned man, the north gate fell by lot.	14 Or la porta d'oriente toccò a Selemia: e a Zacharia suo figliuolo, uomo prudentissimo, e intelligente, toccò a sorte quella di settentrione.
15 And to Obededom and his sons that towards the south: in which part of the house was the council of the ancients.	15 E ad Obededom, e a' suoi figliuoli quella di mezzodì: nella qual parte della casa era il consiglio de' seniori.
16 To Sephim, and Hosa towards the west, by the gate which leadeth to the way of the ascent: ward against ward.	16 Sephim, e Hosa ad occidente presso alla porta, che mena alla strada della salita: una guardia dirimpetto all'altra guardia.
17 Now towards the east were six Levites: and towards the north four a day: and towards the south likewise four a day: and where the council was, two and two.	17 Alla porta d'oriente sei Leviti; e a quella di settentrione quattro ogni di, e a mezzogiorno parimente quattro ogni dì; e dove era il consiglio, due alla volta.
18 In the cells also of the porters toward the west four in the way: and two at every cell.	18 E alle celle de' portinaj ad occidente quattro sulla strada, due per volta alle celle.
19 These are the divisions of the porters of the sons of Core, and of Merari.	19 Ecco come fu spartita la custodia delle porte ai figliuoli di Core, e di Merari.
20 Now Achias was over the treasures of the house of God, and the holy vessels.	20 Achias poi avea la custodia de' tesori della casa del Signore, e de' vasi sagri.
21 The sons of Ledan, the sons of Gersonni: of Ledan were heads of the families, of Ledan, and Gersonni, Jehieli.	21 Figliuoli di Ledan, figliuolo di Gersonni: di Ledan figliuolo di Gersonni vengono questi capi di famiglie: Jehieli.
22 The sons of Jehieli: Zathan and Joel, his brethren over the treasures of the house of the Lord,	22 I figliuoli di Jehieli: Zatan, e Joel suoi fratelli custodi dei tesori della casa del Signore,
23 With the Amramites, and Isaarites, and Hebronites, and Ozielites.	23 Insieme con quelli delle famiglie di Amram, di Isaar, di Hebron, e di Ozihel.
24 And Subael the son of Gersom, the son of Moses, was chief over the treasures.	24 E Subael figliuolo di Gersom, figliuolo di Mosè, capo dei tesorieri.

27 Out of the wars, and the spoils won in battles, which they had consecrated to the building and furniture of the temple of the Lord.	27 Cioè delle cose predate, e delle spoglie prese in guerra, e consacrate pel mantenimento del tempio del Signore, e de' suoi utensili.
28 And all these things that Samuel the seer and Saul the son of Cis, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Sarvia had sanctified: and whosoever had sanctified those things, they were under the hand of Selemith and his brethren.	28 Or tutte queste cose erano state consagrate da Samuele Profeta, da Sauj figliuolo di Cis, e da Abner figliuolo di Ner, e da Gioab figliuolo di Sarvia. Tutti quelli, che ne facevan offerta, le mettevan nelle mani di Selemith, e de' suoi fratelli.
29 But Chonenias and his sons were over the Isaarites, for the business abroad over Israel to teach them and judge them.	29 I discendenti d'Isaar aveano per loro capo Chonenìa co' suoi figliuoli, e presedevano alle cose di fuori concernenti Israele, all'instruire, e al giudicare.
30 And of the Hebronites Hasabias, and his brethren most able men, a thousand seven hundred had the charge over Israel beyond the Jordan westward, in all the works of the Lord, and for the service of the king.	30 Hasabia della famiglia degli Hebroniti, e i suoi fratelli, in numero di mille settecento, aveano ispezione sopra Israele di là dal Giordano verso ponente per tutto quello, che riguardava le cose del Signore, e il servizio del re.
31 And the chief of the Hebronites was Jeria according to their families and kindreds. 32 And his brethren of stronger age, two thousand seven hundred chiefs of families. And king David made them rulers over the Rubenites and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasses, for all the service of God, and the king.	32 E de' loro fratelli nel vigor dell'età si trovarono due mila settecento capi di famiglie. E David re diede loro la soprintendenza sopra i Rubelliti, e i Gadditi, e la mezza tribù di Manasse per tutto quello, che concerneva il servizio di Dio, e quello del re.
