9 And the sons of Meselemia, and their brethren strong men, were eighteen.	9 Auch Meschelemja hatte Söhne und Brüder, achtzehn tüchtige Männer.
10 And of Hosa, that is, of the sons of Merari: Semri the chief, (for he had not a firstborn, and therefore his father made him chief.)	10 Ebenso wurden Hosa, einem Nachkommen Meraris, Söhne geboren. Schimri war ihr Oberhaupt. Sein Vater hatte ihn dazu gemacht, obwohl er nicht der Erstgeborene war.
11 Helcias the second, Tabelias the third, Zacharias the fourth: all these the sons, and the brethren of Hosa, were thirteen.	11 Sein zweiter Sohn war Hilkija, der dritte Tebalja, der vierte Secharja. Insgesamt hatte Hosa dreizehn Söhne und Brüder.

And king David made them rulers over the Rubenites and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasses, for all the service of God, and the king.	32 König David setzte Jerija und seine Stammesbrüder, zweitausendsiebenhundert tüchtige Männer, Häupter ihrer Familien, über die Rubeniter, Gaditer und den halben Stamm Manasse in allen Angelegenheiten Gottes und des Königs.
