1 MA egli avverrà negli ultimi tempi che il monte della Casa del Signore sarà fermato in su la sommità dei monti, e sarà alzato sopra i colli; e i popoli accorreranno ad esso.	1 In days to come the mount of the LORD'S house Shall be established higher than the mountains; it shall rise high above the hills, And peoples shall stream to it:
2 E molte genti andranno, e diranno: Venite, e saliamo al monte del Signore, ed alla Casa dell’Iddio di Giacobbe; ed egli ci ammaestrerà nelle sue vie, e noi cammineremo ne’ suoi sentieri; perciocchè la Legge uscirà di Sion, e la parola del Signore di Gerusalemme.	2 Many nations shall come, and say, "Come, let us climb the mount of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob, That he may instruct us in his ways, that we may walk in his paths." For from Zion shall go forth instruction, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
3 Ed egli farà giudicio fra molti popoli, e castigherà nazioni possenti, fin ben lontano; e quelle delle loro spade fabbricheranno zappe, e delle lor lance falci; l’una nazione non leverà più la spada contro all’altra, e non impareranno più la guerra.	3 He shall judge between many peoples and impose terms on strong and distant nations; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; One nation shall not raise the sword against another, nor shall they train for war again.
4 Anzi sederanno ciascuno sotto alla sua vite, e sotto al suo fico; e non vi sarà alcuno che li spaventi; perciocchè la bocca del Signor degli eserciti ha parlato.	4 Every man shall sit under his own vine or under his own fig tree, undisturbed; for the mouth of the LORD of hosts has spoken.
5 Poichè tutti i popoli camminano ciascuno nel nome dell’iddio suo, noi ancora cammineremo nel Nome del Signore Iddio nostro, in sempiterno.	5 For all the peoples walk each in the name of its god, But we will walk in the name of the LORD, our God, forever and ever.
6 In quel giorno, dice il Signore, io raccoglierò le pecore zoppe, e ricetterò le scacciate, e quelle che io avea afflitte;	6 On that day, says the LORD, I will gather the lame, And I will assemble the outcasts, and those whom I have afflicted.
7 e farò che le zoppe saranno per un riserbo, e che le allontanate diverranno una possente nazione; e il Signore regnerà sopra loro nel monte di Sion; da quell’ora fino in sempiterno	7 I will make of the lame a remnant, and of those driven far off a strong nation; And the LORD shall be king over them on Mount Zion, from now on forever.
8 E tu, torre della mandra, rocca della figliuola di Sion, quelle verranno a te; verrà parimente a te la dominazione antica, il regno della figliuola di Gerusalemme.	8 And you, O Magdal-eder, hillock of daughter Zion! Unto you shall it come: the former dominion shall be restored, the kingdom of daughter Jerusalem.
9 Ora, perchè dài tu di gran gridi? vi è egli alcun re in te? i tuoi consiglieri sono eglino periti, che dolore ti ha colta, come la donna che partorisce?	9 Now why do you cry out so? Are you without a king? Or has your counselor perished, That you are seized with pains like a woman in travail?
10 Senti pur doglie, e premiti, figliuola di Sion, come la donna che partorisce; perciocchè ora uscirai della città, ed abiterai per li campi, e perverrai fino in Babilonia; ma quivi sarai riscossa, quivi ti riscatterà il Signore di man de’ tuoi nemici.	10 Writhe in pain, grow faint, O daughter Zion, like a woman in travail; For now shall you go forth from the city and dwell in the fields; To Babylon shall you go, there shall you be rescued. There shall the LORD redeem you from the hand of your enemies.
11 Or al presente molte nazioni si son radunate contro a te, le quali dicono: Sia profanata; e vegga l’occhio nostro in Sion ciò che desidera.	11 How many nations are gathered against you! They say, "Let her be profaned, let our eyes see Zion's downfall!"
12 Ma esse non conoscono i pensieri del Signore, e non intendono il suo consiglio; conciossiachè egli le abbia raccolte, a guisa di mannelle nell’aia.	12 But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, nor understand his counsel, When he has gathered them like sheaves on the threshing floor.
13 Levati, e trebbia, figliuola di Sion; perciocchè io renderò di ferro il tuo corno, e di rame le tue unghie, e tu stritolerai molti popoli; ed io consacrerò, a guisa d’interdetto, il lor guadagno al Signore, e le lor facoltà al Signore di tutta le terra	13 Arise and thresh, O daughter Zion; your horn I will make iron And your hoofs bronze, that you may crush many peoples; You shall devote their spoils to the LORD, and their riches to the Lord of the whole earth.
	14 Now fence yourself in, Bat-gader! "They have laid siege against us!" With the rod they strike on the cheek the ruler of Israel.
