1 Salmo di Davide, dato al capo de’ Musici IL Signore ti risponda nel giorno che tu sarai in distretta; Leviti ad alto in salvo il Nome dell’Iddio di Giacobbe;	1 The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
2 Manditi soccorso dal Santuario, E sostengati da Sion;	2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Ricordisi di tutte le tue offerte, E riduca in cenere il tuo olocausto. Sela.	3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
4 Diati ciò che è secondo il cuor tuo, E adempia ogni tuo consiglio.	4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5 Noi canteremo di allegrezza per la tua vittoria, Ed alzeremo bandiere nel Nome dell’Iddio nostro. Il Signore adempia tutte le tue domande	5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.
6 Ora so, che il Signore ha salvato il suo unto; Egli gli risponderà dal cielo della sua santità; La vittoria della sua destra è con gran potenza.	6 Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Gli uni si fidano in carri, e gli altri in cavalli; Ma noi ricorderemo il Nome del Signore Iddio nostro.	7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
8 Quelli sono andati in giù, e son caduti; Ma noi siamo restati in piè, e ci siam rizzati.	8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
9 Salva, Signore; Rispondaci il re nel giorno che noi grideremo	9 Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.
