1 ALLELUIA. Lodate il Nome del Signore; Lodatelo, voi servitori del Signore;	1 Al eluia! Praise the name of Yahweh, you who serve Yahweh, praise him,
2 Che state nella Casa del Signore, Ne’ cortili della Casa del nostro Dio.	2 serving in the house of Yahweh, in the courts of the house of our God.
3 Lodate il Signore; perciocchè il Signore è buono; Salmeggiate al suo Nome, perciocchè è amabile.	3 Praise Yahweh, for Yahweh is good, make music for his name -- it brings joy-
4 Conciossiachè il Signore si abbia eletto Giacobbe Ed Israele per suo tesoro riposto	4 for Yahweh has chosen Jacob for himself, Israel as his own possession.
5 Certo io conosco che il Signore è grande, E che il nostro Signore è maggiore di tutti gl’iddii.	5 For I know that Yahweh is great, our Lord is above al gods.
6 Il Signore fa tutto ciò che gli piace In cielo ed in terra; Ne’ mari, ed in tutti gli abissi.	6 Yahweh does whatever he pleases in heaven, on earth, in the waters and al the depths.
7 Egli fa salire i vapori dall’estremità dalle terra; Egli fa i lampi per la pioggia; Egli trae fuori il vento da’ suoi tesori.	7 He summons up clouds from the borders of earth, sends rain with lightning-flashes, and brings thewind out of his storehouse.
8 Egli è quel che percosse i primogeniti di Egitto, Così degli uomini, come degli animali.	8 He struck the first-born in Egypt, man and beast alike,
9 Che mandò segni e prodigi, in mezzo di te, o Egitto; Sopra Faraone, e sopra tutti i suoi servitori.	9 he sent signs and wonders into the heart of Egypt, against Pharaoh and al his officials.
10 Che percosse nazioni grandi, Ed uccise re potenti;	10 He struck down many nations, he slaughtered mighty kings,
11 Sihon, re degli Amorrei, E Og, re di Basan, E i re di tutti i regni di Canaan;	11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and al the kingdoms of Canaan.
12 E diede i lor paesi per eredità, Per eredità ad Israele, suo popolo.	12 He gave their land as a birthright, a birthright to his people Israel.
13 O Signore, il tuo Nome è in eterno; O Signore, la memoria di te è per ogni età.	13 Yahweh, your name endures for ever, Yahweh, your memory is fresh from age to age.
14 Quando il Signore avrà fatti i suoi giudicii sopra il suo popolo, Egli si pentirà per amor de’ suoi servitori	14 For Yahweh vindicates his people, feels compassion for his servants.
15 Gl’idoli delle genti sono argento ed oro, Opera di mani d’uomini;	15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by human hands.
16 Hanno bocca, e non parlano; Hanno occhi, e non veggono;	16 These have mouths but say nothing, have eyes but see nothing,
17 Hanno orecchi, e non odono; Ed anche non hanno fiato alcuno nella lor bocca.	17 have ears but hear nothing, and they have no breath in their mouths.
18 Simili ad essi sieno quelli che li fanno; Chiunque in essi si confida.	18 Their makers wil end up like them, everyone who relies on them.
19 Casa d’Israele, benedite il Signore; Casa d’Aaronne, benedite il Signore.	19 House of Israel, bless Yahweh, House of Aaron, bless Yahweh,
20 Casa di Levi, benedite il Signore; Voi che temete il Signore, beneditelo.	20 House of Levi, bless Yahweh, you who fear Yahweh, bless Yahweh.
21 Benedetto sia da Sion il Signore, Che abita in Gerusalemme. Alleluia	21 Blessed be Yahweh from Zion, he who dwel s in Jerusalem!
