DIODATI	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 IO amo il Signore; perciocchè egli ascolta La mia voce, e le mie supplicazioni.	1 I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
2 Poichè egli ha inchinato a me il suo orecchio, Io lo invocherò tutti i giorni della mia vita.	2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
3 I legami della morte mi avevano circondato, E le distrette del sepolcro mi avevano colto; Io aveva scontrata angoscia e cordoglio.	3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
4 Ma io invocai il Nome del Signore, Dicendo: Deh! Signore, libera l’anima mia.	4 Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
5 Il Signore è pietoso e giusto; E il nostro Dio è misericordioso.	5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
6 Il Signore guarda i semplici; Io era ridotto in misero stato, Ed egli mi ha salvato.	6 The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
7 Ritorna, anima mia, al tuo riposo; Perciocchè il Signore ti ha fatta la tua retribuzione.	7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8 Poichè, o Signore, tu hai ritratta l’anima mia da morte, Gli occhi miei da lagrime, I miei piedi da caduta;	8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9 Io camminerò nel tuo cospetto Nella terra de’ viventi	9 I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
10 Io ho creduto, e però certo io parlerò. Io era grandemente afflitto;	10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
11 Io diceva nel mio smarrimento: Ogni uomo è bugiardo.	11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.
12 Che renderò io al Signore? Tutti i suoi beneficii son sopra me.	12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
13 Io prenderò il calice delle salvazioni, E predicherò il Nome del Signore.	13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
14 Io pagherò i miei voti al Signore, Ora in presenza di tutto il suo popolo.	14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
15 La morte de’ santi del Signore È preziosa nel suo cospetto.	15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
16 Deh! Signore, esaudiscimi; perciocchè io son tuo servitore; Io son tuo servitore, figliuolo della tua servente; Tu hai sciolti i miei legami.	16 O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
17 Io ti sacrificherò sacrificio di lode, E predicherò il Nome del Signore.	17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
18 Io pagherò i miei voti al Signore, Ora in presenza di tutto il suo popolo;	18 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,
19 Ne’ cortili della Casa del Signore, In mezzo di te, o Gerusalemme. Alleluia	19 In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
