Oseas 3

EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	CATHOLIC PUBLIC DOMAIN
1 El Señor me dijo: «Ve una vez más, y ama a una mujer amada por otro y adúltera, como ama el Señor a los israelitas, mientras ellos se vuelven a otros dioses y aman las tortas de uvas».	1 And the Lord said to me: “Go yet again, and love a woman, beloved by a friend, yet an adulteress, for so does the Lord love the sons of Israel, yet they look to strange gods, and love the seeds of grapes.”
2 Yo la compré por quince siclos de plata, y por una carga y media de cebada.	2 And I contracted her to me for fifteen silver coins, and for a basket of barley, and half a basket of barley.
3 Entonces le dije: «Durante mucho tiempo, estarás conmigo; no te prostituirás ni te entregarás a otro hombre. Y yo haré lo mismo contigo».	3 And I said to her, “You will wait for me for many days. You will not commit fornication, and you will not be with a man. But I also will wait for you.”
4 Porque durante mucho tiempo, los israelitas estarán sin rey y sin jefe, sin sacrificio y sin piedra conmemorativa, sin efod y sin ídolos familiares.	4 For the sons of Israel will sit for many days without a king, and without a leader, and without sacrifice, and without altar, and without priestly vestments, and without religious symbols.
5 Después los israelitas volverán y buscarán al Señor, su Dios, y a David, su rey; y acudirán con temor al Señor y a sus bienes, en los días futuros.	5 And after this, the sons of Israel will return, and they will seek the Lord their God and David their king, and they will be terrified by the Lord and by his goodness, in the last days.
