Oseas 3

EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	NEW JERUSALEM
1 El Señor me dijo: «Ve una vez más, y ama a una mujer amada por otro y adúltera, como ama el Señor a los israelitas, mientras ellos se vuelven a otros dioses y aman las tortas de uvas».	1 Yahweh said to me, 'Go again, love a woman who loves another man, an adulteress, and love her asYahweh loves the Israelites although they turn to other gods and love raisin cakes.'
2 Yo la compré por quince siclos de plata, y por una carga y media de cebada.	2 So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver, a homer of barley and a skin of wine,
3 Entonces le dije: «Durante mucho tiempo, estarás conmigo; no te prostituirás ni te entregarás a otro hombre. Y yo haré lo mismo contigo».	3 and I said to her, 'You wil have to spend a long time waiting for me without playing the whore andwithout giving yourself to any man, and I wil behave in the same way towards you.'
4 Porque durante mucho tiempo, los israelitas estarán sin rey y sin jefe, sin sacrificio y sin piedra conmemorativa, sin efod y sin ídolos familiares.	4 For the Israelites wil have to spend a long time without king or leader, without sacrifice or sacred pil ar,without ephod or domestic images;
5 Después los israelitas volverán y buscarán al Señor, su Dios, y a David, su rey; y acudirán con temor al Señor y a sus bienes, en los días futuros.	5 but after that, the Israel- ites wil return and again seek Yahweh their God and David their king, and turntrembling to Yahweh for his bounty in the final days.
