Salmos 148

EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	NEW JERUSALEM
1 ¡Aleluya! Alaben al Señor desde el cielo, alábenlo en las alturas;	1 Al eluia! Praise Yahweh from the heavens, praise him in the heights.
2 alábenlo, todos sus ángeles, alábenlo, todos sus ejércitos.	2 Praise him, all his angels, praise him, al his host!
3 Alábenlo, sol y luna, alábenlo, astros luminosos;	3 Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, al shining stars,
4 alábenlo, espacios celestiales y aguas que están sobre el cielo.	4 praise him, highest heavens, praise him, waters above the heavens.
5 Alaben el nombre del Señor, porque él lo ordenó, y fueron creados;	5 Let them praise the name of Yahweh at whose command they were made;
6 él los afianzó para siempre, estableciendo una ley que no pasará.	6 he established them for ever and ever by an unchanging decree.
7 Alaben al Señor desde la tierra, los cetáceos y los abismos del mar;	7 Praise Yahweh from the earth, sea-monsters and all the depths,
8 el rayo, el granizo, la nieve, la bruma, y el viento huracanado que obedece a sus órdenes.	8 fire and hail, snow and mist, storm-winds that obey his word,
9 Las montañas y todas las colinas, los árboles frutales y todos los cedros;	9 mountains and every hill, orchards and every cedar,
10 las fieras y los animales domésticos, los reptiles y los pájaros alados.	10 wild animals and al cattle, reptiles and winged birds,
11 Los reyes de la tierra y todas las naciones, los príncipes y los gobernantes de la tierra;	11 kings of the earth and al nations, princes and all judges on earth,
12 los ancianos, los jóvenes y los niños,	12 young men and girls, old people and children together.
13 alaben el nombre del Señor. Porque sólo su Nombre es sublime; su majestad está sobre el cielo y la tierra,	13 Let them praise the name of Yahweh, for his name alone is sublime, his splendour transcends earthand heaven.
14 y él exalta la fuerza de su pueblo. ¡A él, la alabanza de todos sus fieles, y de Israel, el pueblo de sus amigos! ¡Aleluya!	14 For he heightens the strength of his people, to the praise of al his faithful, the children of Israel, thepeople close to him.
