NOVA VULGATA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Magistro chori. Filiorum Core. Psalmus.	1 [For the choirmaster Of the sons of Korah Psalm] Clap your hands, all peoples, acclaim God withshouts of joy.
2 Omnes gentes, plaudite manibus, iubilate Deo in voce exsultationis,	2 For Yahweh, the Most High, is glorious, the great king over al the earth.
3 quoniam Dominus Altissimus, terribilis, rex magnus super omnem terram.	3 He brings peoples under our yoke and nations under our feet.
4 Subiecit populos nobis et gentes sub pedibus nostris.	4 He chooses for us our birthright, the pride of Jacob whom he loves.Pause
5 Elegit nobis hereditatem nostram, gloriam Iacob, quem dilexit.	5 God goes up to shouts of acclaim, Yahweh to a fanfare on the ram's horn.
6 Ascendit Deus in iubilo, et Dominus in voce tubae.	6 Let the music sound for our God, let it sound, let the music sound for our king, let it sound.
7 Psallite Deo, psallite; psallite regi nostro, psallite.	7 For he is king of the whole world; learn the music, let it sound for God!
8 Quoniam rex omnis terrae Deus, psallite sapienter.	8 God reigns over the nations, seated on his holy throne.
9 Regnavit Deus super gentes, Deus sedet super sedem sanctam suam.	9 The leaders of the nations ral y to the people of the God of Abraham. The shields of the earth belongto God, who is exalted on high.
10 Principes populorum congregati sunt cum populo Dei Abraham, quoniam Dei sunt scuta terrae: vehementer elevatus est.
