NEW JERUSALEM	Le Sainte Bible Fillion
1 Then he shouted loudly for me to hear, 'The scourges of the city are approaching, each carrying hisweapon of destruction!'	1 Puis Il cria d'une voix forte à mes oreilles, en disant: Ceux qui doivent visiter la ville approchent, et chacun tient dans sa main un instrument de mort.
2 Immediately six men advanced from the upper north gate, each holding a deadly weapon. Among themwas a man dressed in linen, with a scribe's ink-horn in his belt. They came in and halted in front of the bronzealtar.	2 Et voici que six hommes venaient du côté de la porte supérieure qui regarde vers l'aquilon, et chacun avait à la main un instrument de mort; il y avait aussi, au milieu d'eux, un homme vêtu de lin, et portant une écritoire de scribe à sa ceinture; ils entrèrent, et se tinrent près de l'autel d'airain.
3 The glory of the God of Israel rose from above the winged creature where it had been, towards thethreshold of the Temple. He cal ed to the man dressed in linen with a scribe's ink-horn in his belt	3 Et la gloire du Dieu d'Israël s'éleva de dessus le chérubin sur lequel elle était, et vint au seuil de la maison du Seigneur; et elle appela l'homme vêtu de lin, et qui avait l'écritoire de scribe à la ceinture.
4 and Yahweh said to him, 'Go al through the city, al through Jerusalem, and mark a cross on theforeheads of all who grieve and lament over al the loathsome practices in it.'	4 Et le Seigneur lui dit: Passe au milieu de la ville, au milieu de Jérusalem, et marque un thau sur le front des hommes qui gémissent et qui sont dans le deuil à cause de toutes les abominations qui se font au milieu d'elle.
5 I heard him say to the others, 'Fol ow him through the city and strike. Not one glance of pity; show nomercy;	5 Et Il dit aux autres, ainsi que je l'entendis: Passez à travers la ville après lui, et frappez; que votre oeil n'épargne pas, et soyez sans pitié.
6 old men, young men, girls, children, women, kil and exterminate them al . But do not touch anyone witha cross on his forehead. Begin at my sanctuary.' So they began with the old men who were in the Temple.	6 Tuez et exterminez le vieillard, le jeune homme et la jeune fille, la femme et le petit enfant, mais ne tuez pas ceux sur lesquels vous verrez le thau, et commencez par Mon sanctuaire. Ils commencèrent donc par les anciens qui étaient devant la maison.
7 He said to them, 'Defile the Temple; fill the courts with corpses; then go out!' They went out and hackedtheir way through the city.	7 Et Il leur dit: Souillez la maison et remplissez les parvis de cadavres; puis sortez. Ils sortirent, et ils frappèrent ceux qui étaient dans la ville.
8 While they were hacking them down, I was left alone; I fel on my face, crying out, 'Ah, Lord Yahweh,are you going to annihilate al that is left of Israel by venting your fury on Jerusalem?'	8 Et après ce carnage, je demeurai là, et je me jetai la face contre terre, et je dis en criant: Hélas! hélas! hélas! Seigneur Dieu; perdrez-Vous donc tous les restes d'Israël, en répandant Votre fureur sur Jérusalem?
9 He said, 'The guilt of the House of Israel and Judah is immense; the country is ful of bloodshed, the cityful of perversity, for they say, "Yahweh has abandoned the country, Yahweh cannot see."	9 Et Il me dit: L'iniquité de la maison d'Israël et de Juda est excessive; le pays est rempli de sang, et la ville est remplie d'apostasie; car ils ont dit: Le Seigneur a abandonné le pays, et le Seigneur ne voit point.
10 Then, I too shal neither give one glance of pity nor show any mercy. I shal repay them for what theyhave done.'	10 C'est pourquoi Mon oeil n'épargnera pas, et Je serai sans pitié; Je ferai retomber leurs oeuvres sur leurs têtes.
11 The man dressed in linen with the scribe's ink-horn in his belt then came back and made his report, 'Ihave carried out your orders.'	11 Et voici, l'homme vêtu de lin, et qui avait l'écritoire à la ceinture, fit cette réponse: J'ai fait ce que Vous m'avez commandé.
