Salmos 101

BIBLIA	NEW AMERICAN BIBLE
1 De David. Salmo. Quiero cantar el amor y la justicia, para ti, Yahveh, salmodiaré;	1 A psalm of David. I sing of love and justice; to you, LORD, I sing praise.
2 cursaré el camino de la perfección: ¿cuándo vendrás a mí? Procederé con corazón perfecto, dentro de mi casa;	2 I follow the way of integrity; when will you come to me? I act with integrity of heart within my royal court.
3 no pondré delante de mis ojos cosa villana. Detesto la conducta de los extraviados, no se me pegará;	3 I do not allow into my presence anyone who speaks perversely. Whoever acts shamefully I hate; no such person can be my friend.
4 el corazón perverso está lejos de mí, no conozco al malvado.	4 I shun the devious of heart; the wicked I do not tolerate.
5 Al que infama a su prójimo en secreto, a ése le aniquilo; ojo altanero y corazón hinchado no los soporto.	5 Whoever slanders another in secret I reduce to silence. Haughty eyes and arrogant hearts I cannot endure.
6 Mis ojos, en los fieles de la tierra, por que vivan conmigo; el que anda por el camino de la perfección será mi servidor.	6 I look to the faithful of the land; they alone can be my companions. Those who follow the way of integrity, they alone can enter my service.
7 No mora dentro de mi casa el agente de engaño; el que dice mentiras no persiste delante de mis ojos.	7 No one who practices deceit can hold a post in my court. No one who speaks falsely can be among my advisors.
8 Cada mañana he de aniquilar a todos los impíos del país, para extirpar de la ciudad de Yahveh a todos los agentes de mal.	8 Each morning I clear the wicked from the land, and rid the LORD'S city of all evildoers.
