Iob 32

1 Lasciarono adunque questi tre uomini di rispondere a Iob, perciò che parea loro che fosse giusto.	1 But these three men ceased to answer Job, because he considered himself justified.
2 E adirato e indegnato è Eliu figliuolo di Barachel Buzite, dello parentado di Ram; ed è adirato contro a Iob, perciò ch' elli diceva ch' era giusto innanzi al Signore.	2 And Eliu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram, was angry and indignant. But he was angry against Job because he described himself to be just in the presence of God.
3 E al tutto contro alli amici suoi indignato è, imperciò che non aveano trovata responsione ragionevole, ma solamente condannavano Iob.	3 Moreover, he was indignant with his friends because they had not found a reasonable response, except in so far as they condemned Job.
4 Adunque Eliu aspettava Iob favellante; perciò ch' erano più vecchi di lui coloro che favellavano.	4 Therefore, Eliu waited while Job was talking, for these were his elders that were speaking.
5 E conciosia cosa che lui avesse udito che non potessono respondere, adiratosi è fortemente.	5 But when he saw that these three were not able to respond, he was extremely angry.
6 E rispose Eliu figliuolo di Barachel Buzite, e disse più giovane di tempo sono, e voi più antichi; dunque (qui è) chinato lo capo, mi son vergognato di dimostrare a voi la mia sentenza.	6 And so Eliu the son of Barachel the Buzite responded by saying: I am younger in years, and you are more ancient; therefore, I kept my head low, for I was afraid to reveal to you my opinion.
7 In verità io sperai che la età più lunga favellasse, e la moltitudine degli anni insegnasse la sapienza.	7 For I had hoped that greater age would speak, and that a multitude of years would teach wisdom.
8 Ma, secondo ch' io vidi, lo spirito è nelli uomini, e la inspirazione Odell' nnipotente dà la intelligenza.	8 But I see now that there is only breath in men, and that it is the inspiration of the Almighty that gives understanding.
9 Non sono di lungo tempo li savii, nè li vecchi intendono lo giudicio.	9 The wise are not the aged, nor do the elders understand judgment.
10 E però dirò: attendete me, e anche io mostrerò a voi la mia scienza.	10 Therefore, I will speak. Listen to me, and so I will show you my wisdom.
11 Certo io aspettai le vostre parole; udi' la vostra prudenza, infino che voi disputavate colle vostre parole.	11 For I have endured your words; I have paid attention to your deliberations, while you were being argumentative with words.
12 E insino ch' io pensava che voi diceste alcuna cosa, considerava; ma, secondo ch' io veggio, non è chi possa riprendere Iob (di voi), e rispondere di voi alle parole sue.	12 And as long as I supposed that you were saying something, I considered; but now I see that there is none of you that is able to argue with Job and to respond to his words.
13 Acciò che forse voi non diciate: noi abbiamo trovata la sapienza, Iddio gittoe lui, ma non l'uomo.	13 So that you will not say, “We have found wisdom,” God has thrown him down, not man.
14 Niuna cosa favellò a me; e io risponderò a lui, non secondo le vostre parole.	14 He has said nothing to me, and I will not respond to him according to your words.
15 Temettono coloro, e non risposero più, e partironsi da loro li favellari.	15 Then they were filled with dread, and so they no longer responded, and they withdrew from their speechmaking.
16 Adunque, perciò ch' io aspettai, e non favellorono; stettero e non risposero più;	16 Therefore, because I have waited and they have not been speaking, for they stood firm and did not respond at all,
17 e io risponderò la mia parte, e mostrerò la mia scienza.	17 I also will answer in my turn, and I will reveal my knowledge.
18 Certo io sono pieno di parole, e constrigne me lo spirito del ventre mio.	18 For I am full of words, and the feeling in my gut inspires me.
19 Però che lo ventre mio è quasi mosto sanza spiraglio, e dirompe li nuovi vaselli.	19 Yes, my stomach is like fermenting wine without a vent, which bursts the new containers.
20 E favellerò, e ispirerò uno poco; aprirò le mie labbra, e risponderoe.	20 I should speak, but I will also breathe a little; I will open my lips, and I will answer.
21 Non torroe la persona dell' uomo, e Iddio all' uomo non assomigliarò.	21 I will not esteem the reputation of a man, and I will not equate God with man.
22 Certo io non soe quanto basteroe, e se dopo uno pochettino torrae me lo mio fattore.	22 For I do not know how long I will continue, and whether, after a while, my Maker might take me away.
