Isaiah (ישעיה) - Isaia 97

STUTTGARTENSIA-DELITZSCH	NEW JERUSALEM
1 יְהוָה מָלָךְ תָּגֵל הָאָרֶץ יִשְׂמְחוּ אִיִּים רַבִּים	1 Yahweh is king! Let earth rejoice, the many isles be glad!
2 עָנָן וַעֲרָפֶל סְבִיבָיו צֶדֶק וּמִשְׁפָּט מְכֹון כִּסְאֹו	2 Cloud, black cloud enfolds him, saving justice and judgement the foundations of his throne.
3 אֵשׁ לְפָנָיו תֵּלֵךְ וּתְלַהֵט סָבִיב צָרָיו	3 Fire goes before him, sets ablaze his enemies al around;
4 הֵאִירוּ בְרָקָיו תֵּבֵל רָאֲתָה וַתָּחֵל הָאָרֶץ	4 his lightning-flashes light up the world, the earth sees it and quakes.
5 הָרִים כַּדֹּונַג נָמַסּוּ מִלִּפְנֵי יְהוָה מִלִּפְנֵי אֲדֹון כָּל־הָאָרֶץ	5 The mountains melt like wax, before the Lord of all the earth.
6 הִגִּידוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם צִדְקֹו וְרָאוּ כָל־הָעַמִּים כְּבֹודֹו	6 The heavens proclaim his saving justice, all nations see his glory.
7 יֵבֹשׁוּ ׀ כָּל־עֹבְדֵי פֶסֶל הַמִּתְהַלְלִים בָּאֱלִילִים הִשְׁתַּחֲווּ־לֹו כָּל־אֱלֹהִים	7 Shame on all who serve images, who pride themselves on their idols; bow down to him, al you gods!
8 שָׁמְעָה וַתִּשְׂמַח ׀ צִיֹּון וַתָּגֵלְנָה בְּנֹות יְהוּדָה לְמַעַן מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ יְהוָה	8 Zion hears and is glad, the daughters of Judah exult, because of your judgements, Yahweh.
9 כִּי־אַתָּה יְהוָה עֶלְיֹון עַל־כָּל־הָאָרֶץ מְאֹד נַעֲלֵיתָ עַל־כָּל־אֱלֹהִים	9 For you are Yahweh, Most High over al the earth, far transcending al gods.
10 אֹהֲבֵי יְהוָה שִׂנְאוּ רָע מֵר נַפְשֹׁות חֲסִידָיו מִיַּד רְשָׁעִים יַצִּילֵם	10 Yahweh loves those who hate evil, he keeps safe his faithful, rescues them from the clutches of thewicked.
11 אֹור זָרֻעַ לַצַּדִּיק וּלְיִשְׁרֵי־לֵב שִׂמְחָה	11 Light dawns for the upright, and joy for honest hearts.
12 שִׂמְחוּ צַדִּיקִים בַּיהוָה וְהֹודוּ לְזֵכֶר קָדְשֹׁו	12 Rejoice in Yahweh, you who are upright, praise his unforgettable holiness.
