Divrei Hayamim (דברי הימים) - 1 Cronache 25

1 וַיַּבְדֵּל דָּוִיד וְשָׂרֵי הַצָּבָא לַעֲבֹדָה לִבְנֵי אָסָף וְהֵימָן וִידוּתוּן [הַנְּבִּיאִים כ] (הַנִּבְּאִים ק) בְּכִנֹּרֹות בִּנְבָלִים וּבִמְצִלְתָּיִם וַיְהִי מִסְפָּרָם אַנְשֵׁי מְלָאכָה לַעֲבֹדָתָם	1 For the liturgy, David and the religious officials selected the sons of Asaph, of Heman and ofJeduthun, who were to prophesy to the accompaniment of harps, lyres and cymbals. The list of ministrants forthis service was as follows:
2 לִבְנֵי אָסָף זַכּוּר וְיֹוסֵף וּנְתַנְיָה וַאֲשַׂרְאֵלָה בְּנֵי אָסָף עַל יַד־אָסָף הַנִּבָּא עַל־יְדֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ	2 Of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, Asharelah; the sons of Asaph were under thedirection of Asaph who prophesied at the king's direction.
3 לִידוּתוּן בְּנֵי יְדוּתוּן גְּדַלְיָהוּ וּצְרִי וִישַׁעְיָהוּ חֲשַׁבְיָהוּ וּמַתִּתְיָהוּ שִׁשָּׁה עַל יְדֵי אֲבִיהֶם יְדוּתוּן בַּכִּנֹּור הַנִּבָּא עַל־הֹדֹות וְהַלֵּל לַיהוָה׃ ס	3 Of Jeduthun there were the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Hashabiah and Mattithiah,six, under the direction of their father Jeduthun who, with the harp, prophesied when thanks and praise were tobe given to Yahweh.
4 לְהֵימָן בְּנֵי הֵימָן בֻּקִּיָּהוּ מַתַּנְיָהוּ עֻזִּיאֵל שְׁבוּאֵל וִירִימֹות חֲנַנְיָה חֲנָנִי אֱלִיאָתָה גִדַּלְתִּי וְרֹמַמְתִּי עֶזֶר יָשְׁבְּקָשָׁה מַלֹּותִי הֹותִיר מַחֲזִיאֹות	4 Of Heman there were the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah,Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.
5 כָּל־אֵלֶּה בָנִים לְהֵימָן חֹזֵה הַמֶּלֶךְ בְּדִבְרֵי הָאֱלֹהִים לְהָרִים קָרֶן וַיִּתֵּן הָאֱלֹהִים לְהֵימָן בָּנִים אַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר וּבָנֹות שָׁלֹושׁ	5 Al these were sons of Heman, the king's seer; at God's word they blew the horn. God gave Hemanfourteen sons and three daughters.
6 כָּל־אֵלֶּה עַל־יְדֵי אֲבִיהֶם בַּשִּׁיר בֵּית יְהוָה בִּמְצִלְתַּיִם נְבָלִים וְכִנֹּרֹות לַעֲבֹדַת בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים עַל יְדֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ ס אָסָף וִידוּתוּן וְהֵימָן	6 Under the king's direction al these had the duty of singing to the accompaniment of cymbal, lyre andharp for the liturgy of the house of God under the direction of their fathers. Asaph, Jeduthun and Heman,
7 וַיְהִי מִסְפָּרָם עִם־אֲחֵיהֶם מְלֻמְּדֵי־שִׁיר לַיהוָה כָּל־הַמֵּבִין מָאתַיִם שְׁמֹונִים וּשְׁמֹונָה	7 trained in the songs of Yahweh, with their brothers, numbered two hundred and eighty-eight, alexpert.
8 וַיַּפִּילוּ גֹּורָלֹות מִשְׁמֶרֶת לְעֻמַּת כַּקָּטֹן כַּגָּדֹול מֵבִין עִם־תַּלְמִיד׃ פ	8 Junior and senior, master and pupil alike, they drew lots for their term of duty.
9 וַיֵּצֵא הַגֹּורָל הָרִאשֹׁון לְאָסָף לְיֹוסֵף גְּדַלְיָהוּ הַשֵּׁנִי הוּא־וְאֶחָיו וּבָנָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	9 The first to whom the lot fel was the Asaphite, Joseph. The second was Gedaliah, who with his sonsand brothers made twelve.
10 הַשְּׁלִשִׁי זַכּוּר בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	10 The third was Zaccur, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
11 הָרְבִיעִי לַיִּצְרִי בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	11 The fourth was Izri, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
12 הַחֲמִישִׁי נְתַנְיָהוּ בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	12 The fifth was Nethaniah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
13 הַשִּׁשִּׁי בֻקִּיָּהוּ בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	13 The sixth was Bukkiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
14 הַשְּׁבִעִי יְשַׂרְאֵלָה בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	14 The seventh was Jesharelah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
15 הַשְּׁמִינִי יְשַׁעְיָהוּ בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	15 The eighth was Jeshaiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
16 הַתְּשִׁיעִי מַתַּנְיָהוּ בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	16 The ninth was Mattaniah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
17 הָעֲשִׂירִי שִׁמְעִי בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	17 The tenth was Shimei, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
18 עַשְׁתֵּי־עָשָׂר עֲזַרְאֵל בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	18 The eleventh was Azarel, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
19 הַשְּׁנֵים עָשָׂר לַחֲשַׁבְיָה בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	19 The twelfth was Hashabiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
20 לִשְׁלֹשָׁה עָשָׂר שׁוּבָאֵל בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	20 The thirteenth was Shubael, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
21 לְאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר מַתִּתְיָהוּ בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	21 The fourteenth was Mattithiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
22 לַחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר לִירֵמֹות בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	22 The fifteenth was Jeremoth, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
23 לְשִׁשָּׁה עָשָׂר לַחֲנַנְיָהוּ בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	23 The sixteenth was Hananiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
24 לְשִׁבְעָה עָשָׂר לְיָשְׁבְּקָשָׁה בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	24 The seventeenth was Joshbekashah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
25 לִשְׁמֹונָה עָשָׂר לַחֲנָנִי בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	25 The eighteenth was Hanani, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
26 לְתִשְׁעָה עָשָׂר לְמַלֹּותִי בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	26 The nineteenth was Mal othi, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
27 לְעֶשְׂרִים לֶאֱלִיָּתָה בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	27 The twentieth was Eliathah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
28 לְאֶחָד וְעֶשְׂרִים לְהֹותִיר בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	28 The twenty-first was Hothir, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
29 לִשְׁנַיִם וְעֶשְׂרִים לְגִדַּלְתִּי בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	29 The twenty-second was Giddalti, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
30 לִשְׁלֹשָׁה וְעֶשְׂרִים לְמַחֲזִיאֹות בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר	30 The twenty-third was Mahazioth, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
31 לְאַרְבָּעָה וְעֶשְׂרִים לְרֹומַמְתִּי עָזֶר בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר׃ פ	31 The twenty-fourth was Romamti-Ezer, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.
