Vangelo secondo Giovanni (يوحنا) 13

1 اما يسوع قبل عيد الفصح وهو عالم ان ساعته قد جاءت لينتقل من هذا العالم الى الآب اذ كان قد احب خاصته الذين في العالم احبهم الى المنتهى.	1 Before the festival of the Passover, Jesus, knowing that his hour had come to pass from this world tothe Father, having loved those who were his in the world, loved them to the end.
2 فحين كان العشاء وقد ألقى الشيطان في قلب يهوذا سمعان الاسخريوطي ان يسلمه.	2 They were at supper, and the devil had already put it into the mind of Judas Iscariot son of Simon, tobetray him.
3 يسوع وهو عالم ان الآب قد دفع كل شيء الى يديه وانه من عند الله خرج والى الله يمضي.	3 Jesus knew that the Father had put everything into his hands, and that he had come from God andwas returning to God,
4 قام عن العشاء وخلع ثيابه واخذ منشفة واتّزر بها.	4 and he got up from table, removed his outer garments and, taking a towel, wrapped it round his waist;
5 ثم صبّ ماء في مغسل وابتدأ يغسل ارجل التلاميذ ويمسحها بالمنشفة التي كان متزرا بها.	5 he then poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with thetowel he was wearing.
6 فجاء الى سمعان بطرس فقال له ذاك يا سيد انت تغسل رجليّ.	6 He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, 'Lord, are you going to wash my feet?'
7 اجاب يسوع وقال له لست تعلم انت الآن ما انا اصنع ولكنك ستفهم فيما بعد.	7 Jesus answered, 'At the moment you do not know what I am doing, but later you wil understand.'
8 قال له بطرس لن تغسل رجليّ ابدا. اجابه يسوع ان كنت لا اغسلك فليس لك معي نصيب.	8 'Never!' said Peter. 'You shal never wash my feet.' Jesus replied, 'If I do not wash you, you can haveno share with me.' Simon Peter said,
9 قال له سمعان بطرس يا سيد ليس رجليّ فقط بل ايضا يديّ وراسي.	9 'Well then, Lord, not only my feet, but my hands and my head as wel !'
10 قال له يسوع. الذي قد اغتسل ليس له حاجة الا الى غسل رجليه بل هو طاهر كله. وانتم طاهرون ولكن ليس كلكم.	10 Jesus said, 'No one who has had a bath needs washing, such a person is clean all over. You too areclean, though not all of you are.'
11 لانه عرف مسلمه. لذلك قال لستم كلكم طاهرين	11 He knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said, 'though not al of you are'.
12 فلما كان قد غسل ارجلهم واخذ ثيابه واتكأ ايضا قال لهم أتفهمون ما قد صنعت بكم.	12 When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments again he went back to the table. 'Doyou understand', he said, 'what I have done to you?
13 انتم تدعونني معلّما وسيّدا وحسنا تقولون لاني انا كذلك.	13 You cal me Master and Lord, and rightly; so I am.
14 فان كنت وانا السيد والمعلّم قد غسلت ارجلكم فانتم يجب عليكم ان يغسل بعضكم ارجل بعض.	14 If I, then, the Lord and Master, have washed your feet, you must wash each other's feet.
15 لاني اعطيتكم مثالا حتى كما صنعت انا بكم تصنعون انتم ايضا.	15 I have given you an example so that you may copy what I have done to you.
16 الحق الحق اقول لكم انه ليس عبد اعظم من سيده ولا رسول اعظم من مرسله.	16 'In al truth I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, no messenger is greater than the one whosent him.
17 ان علمتم هذا فطوباكم ان عملتموه.	17 'Now that you know this, blessed are you if you behave accordingly.
18 لست اقول عن جميعكم. انا اعلم الذين اخترتهم. لكن ليتم الكتاب. الذي يأكل معي الخبز رفع عليّ عقبه.	18 I am not speaking about al of you: I know the ones I have chosen; but what scripture says must befulfil ed: 'He who shares my table takes advantage of me.
19 اقول لكم الآن قبل ان يكون حتى متى كان تؤمنون اني انا هو.	19 I tel you this now, before it happens, so that when it does happen you may believe that I am He.
20 الحق الحق اقول لكم الذي يقبل من أرسله يقبلني. والذي يقبلني يقبل الذي ارسلني	20 In all truth I tell you, whoever welcomes the one I send, welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me,welcomes the one who sent me.'
21 لما قال يسوع هذا اضطرب بالروح وشهد وقال الحق الحق اقول لكم ان واحدا منكم سيسلمني.	21 Having said this, Jesus was deeply disturbed and declared, 'In al truth I tel you, one of you is goingto betray me.'
22 فكان التلاميذ ينظرون بعضهم الى بعض وهم محتارون في من قال عنه.	22 The disciples looked at each other, wondering whom he meant.
23 وكان متكئا في حضن يسوع واحد من تلاميذه كان يسوع يحبه.	23 The disciple Jesus loved was reclining next to Jesus;
24 فاومأ اليه سمعان بطرس ان يسأل من عسى ان يكون الذي قال عنه.	24 Simon Peter signed to him and said, 'Ask who it is he means,'
25 فاتكأ ذاك على صدر يسوع وقال له يا سيد من هو.	25 so leaning back close to Jesus' chest he said, 'Who is it, Lord?'
26 اجاب يسوع هو ذاك الذي اغمس انا اللقمة واعطيه. فغمس اللقمة واعطاها ليهوذا سمعان الاسخريوطي.	26 Jesus answered, 'It is the one to whom I give the piece of bread that I dip in the dish.' And when hehad dipped the piece of bread he gave it to Judas son of Simon Iscariot.
27 فبعد اللقمة دخله الشيطان. فقال له يسوع ما انت تعمله فاعمله باكثر سرعة.	27 At that instant, after Judas had taken the bread, Satan entered him. Jesus then said, 'What you aregoing to do, do quickly.'
28 واما هذا فلم يفهم احد من المتكئين لماذا كلمه به.	28 None of the others at table understood why he said this.
29 لان قوما اذ كان الصندوق مع يهوذا ظنوا ان يسوع قال له اشتر ما نحتاج اليه للعيد. او ان يعطي شيئا للفقراء	29 Since Judas had charge of the common fund, some of them thought Jesus was telling him, 'Buy whatwe need for the festival,' or tel ing him to give something to the poor.
30 فذاك لما اخذ اللقمة خرج للوقت. وكان ليلا.	30 As soon as Judas had taken the piece of bread he went out. It was night.
31 فلما خرج قال يسوع الآن تمجد ابن الانسان وتمجد الله فيه.	31 When he had gone, Jesus said: Now has the Son of man been glorified, and in him God has beenglorified.
32 ان كان الله قد تمجد فيه فان الله سيمجده في ذاته ويمجده سريعا.	32 If God has been glorified in him, God wil in turn glorify him in himself, and wil glorify him very soon.
33 يا اولادي انا معكم زمانا قليلا بعد. ستطلبونني وكما قلت لليهود حيث اذهب انا لا تقدرون انتم ان تأتوا اقول لكم انتم الآن.	33 Little children, I shal be with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and, as I told the Jews,where I am going, you cannot come.
34 وصية جديدة انا اعطيكم ان تحبوا بعضكم بعضا. كما احببتكم انا تحبون انتم ايضا بعضكم بعضا.	34 I give you a new commandment: love one another; you must love one another just as I have lovedyou.
35 بهذا يعرف الجميع انكم تلاميذي ان كان لكم حب بعضا لبعض	35 It is by your love for one another, that everyone wil recognise you as my disciples.
36 قال له سمعان بطرس يا سيد الى اين تذهب. اجابه يسوع حيث اذهب لا تقدر الآن ان تتبعني ولكنك ستتبعني اخيرا.	36 Simon Peter said, 'Lord, where are you going?' Jesus replied, 'Now you cannot fol ow me where I amgoing, but later you shall fol ow me.'
37 قال له بطرس يا سيد لماذا لا اقدر ان اتبعك الآن. اني اضع نفسي عنك.	37 Peter said to him, 'Why can I not fol ow you now? I will lay down my life for you.'
38 اجابه يسوع أتضع نفسك عني. الحق الحق اقول لك لا يصيح الديك حتى تنكرني ثلاث مرات	38 'Lay down your life for me?' answered Jesus. 'In al truth I tel you, before the cock crows you wilhave disowned me three times.'
