LA SACRA BIBBIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Di Davide. Salmo. Oracolo del Signore al mio signore: "Siedi alla mia destra, finché io ponga i tuoi nemici a sgabello dei tuoi piedi".	1 [Of David Psalm] Yahweh declared to my Lord, 'Take your seat at my right hand, til I have madeyour enemies your footstool.'
2 Lo scettro della tua potenza stenda il Signore da Sion perché tu domini in mezzo ai tuoi nemici.	2 Yahweh will stretch out the sceptre of your power; from Zion you wil rule your foes al around you.
3 Il tuo popolo sta pronto nel giorno del tuo valore, in sacri splendori, dal grembo dell'aurora, per te è il fiore della tua gioventù.	3 Royal dignity has been yours from the day of your birth, sacred honour from the womb, from thedawn of your youth.
4 Il Signore ha giurato e non si pente: "Tu sei sacerdote per sempre secondo l'ordine di Melchisedek".	4 Yahweh has sworn an oath he wil never retract, you are a priest for ever of the order of Melchizedek.
5 Il Signore starà alla tua destra: abbatterà i re nel giorno della sua ira.	5 At your right hand, Lord, he shatters kings when his anger breaks out.
6 Eseguirà il giudizio fra le genti, ammucchierà cadaveri, abbatterà le teste su vasta regione.	6 He judges nations, heaping up corpses, he breaks heads over the whole wide world.
7 Lungo la via berrà al torrente, per questo solleverà il capo.	7 He drinks from a stream as he goes, and therefore he holds his head high.
