Revelation 10

1 And I saw another strong Angel, descending from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet were like columns of fire.	1 F vidi uno altro angelo forte che discendeva dal cielo, vestito di nebula; e l'arco nel suo capo; e la sua faccia era come il sole, e li suoi piedi come colonne di fuoco.
2 And he held in his hand a small open book. And he stationed his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot upon the land.	2 E avea nella sua mano un libro aperto; e puose il suo piede destro sopra il mare, e il sinistro sopra la terra.
3 And he cried out with a great voice, in the manner of a lion roaring. And when he had cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices.	3 E gridò con gran voce, a modo di leone che ruggisse. E abiendo gridato, li sette tuoni parlavano sua voce.
4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write. But I heard a voice from heaven, saying to me: “Seal the things that the seven thunders have spoken, and do not write them.”	4 E abiendo parlato li sette tuoni la sua voce, io era per scrivere; e udii una voce del cielo, dicente a me: segna quelle cose che hanno detto li sette tuoni, e non li scrivere.
5 And the Angel, whom I saw standing upon the sea and upon the land, lifted up his hand toward heaven.	5 E l'angelo, che vidi stare sopra il mare e sopra la terra, levò la sua mano al cielo.
6 And he swore by the One who lives forever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that are in it; and the earth, and the things that are in it; and the sea, and the things that are in it: that the time will not be any longer,	6 E giurò per lo vivente in secula seculorum, il quale creò il cielo e tutte le cose che sono in quello, e la terra e tutte le cose che sono in quella, e il mare e tutte le cose che sono in quello: perchè il tempo non sarà più.
7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh Angel, when he shall begin to sound the trumpet, the mystery of God will be completed, just as he has proclaimed in the Gospel, through his servants the Prophets.	7 Ma nelli dì e nella voce del settimo angelo, quando comincerà a suonar la tromba, si compirà il secreto di Dio, come ha profetizzato per li profeti servi suoi.
8 And again, I heard a voice from heaven speaking with me and saying: “Go and receive the open book from the hand of the Angel who stands upon the sea and upon the land.”	8 E udii la voce del cielo, ancora mi parlava, dicente: va, e tolli il libro aperto della mano dell' angelo il quale sta sopra il mare e sopra la terra.
9 And I went to the Angel, saying to him that he should give the book to me. And he said to me: “Receive the book and consume it. And it shall cause bitterness in your stomach, but in your mouth it shall be sweet like honey.”	9 E andai all' angelo, e dissi a lui, che a me recasse il libro. E a me disse: tolli il libro, e divoralo; e faratti amareggiare il tuo ventre, ma nella bocca tua sarà dolce come miele.
10 And I received the book from the hand of the Angel, and I consumed it. And it was sweet like honey in my mouth. And when I had consumed it, my stomach was made bitter.	10 E tolsi il libro delle mani dell' angelo, e divorai; (e abiendo divorato) ed era nella mia bocca come miele dolce; e quando ebbi divorato, quello amareggiava il mio ventre.
11 And he said to me, “It is necessary for you to prophesy again about many nations and peoples and languages and kings.”	11 E a me disse: ti bisogna ancora profetare alle genti, a molti popoli e lingue, e a molti re.
