1 And I turned and lifted up my eyes. And I saw, and behold, a book flying.	1 - E mi voltai e alzai gli occhi, e vidi un rotolo volante.
2 And he said to me, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see a book flying. Its length is twenty cubits, and its width is ten cubits.”	2 E mi disse: -Che cosa vedi?- Risposi: -Io vedo un rotolo volante, lungo venti cubiti e largo dieci.
3 And he said to me, “This is the curse that goes forth over the face of the whole earth. For every thief will be judged, just as it has been written there, and everyone who swears by this, will be judged in like manner.”	3 E mi disse: - Questa è la maledizione che esce sopra la faccia di tutta la terra; perchè chiunque ruba, come ivi sta scritto, sarà giudicato; e chiunque spergiura, come ivi sta scritto, sarà giudicato similmente.
4 I will bring it forth, says the Lord of hosts, and it will approach to the house of the thief, and to the house of him who swears falsely by my name, and it will remain in the midst of his house and will consume it, with its wood and its stones.	4 "I o l a f a r ò us c i r e ", di c e i l Si g no r e de g l i e s e r c i t i “ e d e s s a v e r r à a l l a casa di chi giura il falso nel nome mio, e dimorerà in mezzo alla sua casa e la consumerà col suo legname e colle pietre sue". -
5 And the angel had departed, who was speaking with me. And he said to me, “Lift up your eyes, and see what this is, that goes forth.”	5 E l'angelo che mi parlava venne fuori e mi disse: - Alza gli occhi tuoi e guarda ciò che vien fuori. -
6 And I said, “What, then, is it?” And he said, “This is a container going forth.” And he said, “This is their eye in all the earth.”	6 Ed io dissi: - Che cosa è mai?- Rispose: - È un'anfora che esce. - Poi soggiunse: - Questo è il loro occhio su tutta la terra. -
7 And behold, a talent of lead was being carried; and behold, one woman sitting in the middle of the container.	7 In quel mentre un talento di piombo veniva portato ed ecco che una donna stava seduta dentro nell'anfora.
8 And he said, “This is impiety.” And he cast her into the middle of the container, and he sent the weight of lead into its mouth.	8 E disse: - Questa è l'empietà. - E la sospinse dentro nell'anfora e vi pose sopra la massa di piombo.
9 And I lifted up my eyes and I saw. And behold, two women were departing, and a spirit was in their wings, and they had wings like the wings of a kite, and they lifted up the container between earth and heaven.	9 E alzai gli occhi e osservai ed ecco, due donne vennero fuori ventilando le ali; avevan ali come di nibbio, e sollevarono l'anfora tra la terra e il cielo.
10 And I said to the angel who was speaking with me, “Where are they taking the container?”	10 Ed io dissi all'angelo che parlava meco: - Dove trasportano esse l'anfora? -
11 And he said to me, “To a house that may be built for it in the land of Shinar, and so that it may be established and set there upon its own base.”	11 Rispose: - Nella terra di Sennaar per fabbricarle una casa e collocarla e stabilirla ivi nella sua propria sede. -
