1 Truly, David had these sons, who were born to him in Hebron: the firstborn Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelite; the second Daniel, from Abigail the Carmelite;	1 David vero hos habuit filios, qui ei nati sunt in Hebron: primoge nitum Amnon ex Achinoam Iezrahelitide, secundum Daniel de Abigail de Carmel,
2 the third Absalom, the son of Maacah, daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur; the fourth Adonijah, the son of Haggith;	2 tertium Absalom filium Maacha filiae Tholmai regis Gesur, quartum Adoniam filium Haggith,
3 the fifth Shephatiah, of Abital; the sixth Ithream, from his wife Eglah.	3 quintum Saphatiam ex Abital, sextum Iethraam de Egla uxore sua.
4 Therefore, six were born to him in Hebron, where he reigned for seven years and six months. Then he reigned for thirty-three years in Jerusalem.	4 Sex ergo nati sunt ei in Hebron, ubi regnavit septem annis et sex mensibus. Triginta autem et tribus annis regnavit in Ierusalem.
5 Now in Jerusalem, sons were born to him: Shammua, and Sobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, these four from Bathsheba, the daughter of Ammiel;	5 Porro in Ierusalem nati sunt ei filii: Samua et Sobab et Nathan et Salomon, quattuor de Bethsabee filia Ammiel;
6 also Ibhar and Elishama,	6 Iebahar quoque et Elisama et Eliphalet
7 and Eliphelet, and Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,	7 et Noga et Napheg et Iaphia
8 indeed also Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.	8 necnon Elisama et Eliada et Eliphalet, novem.
9 All these were sons of David, aside from the sons of the concubines. And they had a sister, Tamar.	9 Omnes hi filii David absque filiis concubinarum; habueruntque sororem Thamar.
10 Now the son of Solomon was Rehoboam, from whom Abijah conceived a son, Asa. And from him, there was born Jehoshaphat,	10 Filius autem Salomonis Roboam, cuius Abia filius genuit Asa; de hoc quoque natus est Iosaphat
11 the father of Jehoram. And Jehoram conceived Ahaziah, from whom there was born Jehoash.	11 pater Ioram; qui Ioram genuit Ochoziam, ex quo ortus est Ioas.
12 And his son, Amaziah, conceived Azariah. Then Jotham, the son of Azariah,	12 Et huius Amasias filius genuit Azariam, porro Azariae filius Ioatham
13 conceived Ahaz, the father of Hezekiah, from whom was born Manasseh.	13 procreavit Achaz patrem Ezechiae, de quo natus est Manasses.
14 Then too, Manasseh conceived Amon, the father of Josiah.	14 Sed et Manasses genuit Amon patrem Iosiae;
15 Now the sons of Josiah were these: the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.	15 filii autem Iosiae fuerunt: primogenitus Iohanan, secundus Ioachim, tertius Sedecias, quartus Sellum.
16 From Jehoiakim was born Jeconiah and Zedekiah.	16 Filii Ioachim: Iechonias filius eius, Sedecias filius eius.
17 The sons of Jeconiah the captive were: Shealtiel,	17 Filii Iechoniae captivi fuerunt: Salathiel filius eius,
18 Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, and Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.	18 Melchiram, Phadaia, Senasser et Iecemias, Hosama et Nadabias.
19 From Pedaiah, there rose up Zerubbabel and Shimei. Zerubbabel conceived Meshullam, Hananiah, and their sister Shelomith,	19 De Phadaia orti sunt Zorobabel et Semei. Zorobabel genuit Mosollam, Hananiam et Salomith sororem eorum
20 as well as Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushab-hesed, five.	20 Hasabamque et Ohol et Barachiam et Hasadiam, Iosabhesed, quinque.
21 Now the son of Hananiah was Pelatiah, the father of Jeshaiah, whose son was Rephaiah. And his son was Arnan, from whom was born Obadiah, whose son was Shecaniah.	21 Filii autem Hananiae: Pheltias, Iesaias, Raphaia, Arnan, Abdia et Sechenias.
22 The son of Shecaniah was Shemaiah, whose sons were these: Hattush, and Igal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six in number.	22 Filii Secheniae: Semeia et Hattus et Igal et Baria et Naaria et Saphat, sex numero.
23 The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, and Hizkiaj, and Azrikam, three.	23 Filii Naariae: Elioenai et Ezechias et Ezricam, tres.
24 The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Delaiah, and Anani, seven.	24 Filii Elioenai: Odovia et Eliasib et Pheleia et Accub et Iohanan et Dalaia et Anani, septem.
