NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA VOLGARE
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 E disse Iddio a me:
2 'Son of man, you are living among a tribe of rebels who have eyes and never see, they have ears andnever hear, because they are a tribe of rebels.	2 O figliuolo d' uomo, tu abiti nel mezzo della casa de' crudeli; i quali hanno occhi da vedere, non veggono; e hanno orecchi da udire, e non odono; però che è casa crudele.
3 So, son of man, pack an exile's bundle and set off for exile by daylight while they watch. You will leaveyour home and go somewhere else while they watch. Then perhaps they will see that they are a tribe of rebels.	3 Adunque tu, figliuolo d' uomo, fa a te vasi di transmigrazione, e transmigrerai il dì inanzi a loro; e tramuterai del tuo luogo ad altro luogo nello loro aspetto; se forse guardino; però che è casa crudele.
4 You will pack your baggage like an exile's bundle, by daylight, while they watch, and leave like an exilein the evening, while they watch.	4 E porterai fuori li vasi tuoi, quasi come vasi di tramutamento, per uno dì nello loro conspetto; e tu uscirai la sera inanzi loro, come fae l' andante.
5 While they watch, make a hole in the wal , and go out through it.	5 Dinanzi alli loro occhi càvati lo parete, e uscirai per quello.
6 While they watch, you wil shoulder your pack and go out into the dark; you wil cover your face so thatyou cannot see the ground, since I have made you an omen for the House of Israel.'	6 Nel conspetto loro tu sarai portato nelle spalle, e sarai portato nelle oscuritadi; tu velerai la faccia tua, e non vederai la terra; però ch' io t'hoe dato per consolazione alla casa d'Israel.
7 I did as I had been told. I packed my baggage like an exile's bundle, by daylight; and in the evening Imade a hole through the wall with my hands; then I went out into the dark and shouldered my pack while theywatched.	7 E io feci come mi comandò lo Signore; e portai li miei vasi come di tramutamento per uno dì; e la sera cavai lo parete colla mano mia; e uscio fuori nell' oscuro, e fui portato nelli omeri nel conspetto loro.
8 Next morning the word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	8 E dissemi Iddio la mattina :
9 'Son of man, did not the House of Israel, did not that tribe of rebels, ask you, "What are you doing?"	9 Figliuolo d' uomo, non ti disse la casa d' Israel, casa crudele: che fai tu?
10 Say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: This prophecy concerns Jerusalem and the whole House of Israelwho live there."	10 Di' tu a loro: questo dice lo Signore Iddio: sopra lo (vostro) duca sarà questa persecuzione, il quale è in Ierusalem, e sopra tutta la casa d' Israel, la quale è nel mezzo di loro.
11 Say, "I am an omen for you; as I have done, so wil be done to them; they will be deported into exile.	11 Di': io sono vostra (guardia e vostra) consolazione; com' io feci, così sarà fatto a coloro; loro andranno in tramutazione e in prigione.
12 Their prince wil shoulder his pack in the dark and go out through the wal ; a hole will be made to lethim out; he wil cover his face, so that he cannot see the country.	12 E lo duca, ch' è nel mezzo di loro, sarà portato sopra li omeri, e uscirà fuori nella oscurità; e caveranno lo parete acciò che loro il menino; la sua faccia sarà coperta acciò che non veggia la terra colli occhi.
13 I shal throw my net over him and catch him in my mesh; I shall take him to Babylon, to the land ofthe Chaldaeans, though he wil not see it; and there he wil die.	13 E distenderò la mia rete sopra lui, e sarà preso nella mia sagena; (la sagena si è una grande rete da pescare, e piglia d' ogni maniera pesci); e menerollo in Babilonia nella terra de' Caldei; e non. la vedrà, e morrà ivi.
14 And al those in attendance on him, his army and al his troops, I shal scatter to al the winds andunsheathe the sword behind them.	14 E tutti quelli che sono intorno a lui, lo suo aiuto e le sue turbe dispergerò via ad ogni vento; e isguainerò lo coltello dirietro a loro.
15 Then they wil know that I am Yahweh, when I scatter them throughout the nations and disperse themin foreign countries.	15 E sapranno ch' io sono lo Signore, quando io li averò dispersi tra le genti, e quando averò disseminati loro nelle terre.
16 But I shall let a few of them escape the sword, famine and plague, to describe al their loathsomepractices to the peoples among whom they wil go, so that these too may know that I am Yahweh." '	16 E lascerò di loro pochi uomini dal coltello e dalla fame e dalla pestilenza, acciò che narrino tutte le loro fellonie nelle genti alle quali loro entreranno; e sapranno ch' io sono lo Signore (Iddio).
17 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	17 E disse Iddio a me:
18 'Son of man, you are to tremble as you eat your food and shudder apprehensively as you drink yourwater,	18 O figliuolo d' uomo, manduca lo tuo pane nella conturbazione; e anche l'acqua bèi in fretta con dolore.
19 and you are to say to the people of the country, "The Lord Yahweh says this to the inhabitants ofJerusalem. They wil shudder apprehensively as they eat their food, and drink their water in fear, so that thecountry and its population may be freed from the violence of its inhabitants.	19 E dirai al popolo della terra: questo dice lo Signore Iddio a coloro i quali àbitano in Ierusalem nella terra d' Israel: manducheranno lo suo pane nella sollicitudine, e beranno l'acqua con desolazione, acciò che la terra sia desolata dalla sua. moltitudine per la iniquità di tutti quelli che àbitano in lei.
20 When the populous cities have been destroyed and the country has been reduced to desert, then youwil know that I am Yahweh." '	20 E le città, che sono ora abitate, saranno desolate, e la terra sarà deserta; e saperete ch' io sono lo Signore.
21 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	21 E disse Iddio a me:
22 'Son of man, what do you understand by the saying pronounced over the land of Israel, "Days go byand visions fade"?	22 O figliuolo d' uomo, che proverbio è questo che voi dite nella terra d'Israel: li dì si s' allungano, e ogni visione perirà?
23 'Very wel , tell them, "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shal put an end to this saying; it will never beused in Israel again." Instead, tel them: "The days are coming when every vision wil come true,	23 Però di' a loro: questo dice lo Signore Iddio: io farò tacere questo proverbio, e non si dirà più dal popolo in Israel; e parla a loro, però che siano approssimati li giorni, e tutto il parlare della visione.
24 for there will be no more futile visions or deceptive prophecy in the House of Israel,	24 Da ora innanzi non sarà la visione vana, e la divinazione non sarà dubbia in mezzo de' figliuoli d' Israel.
25 since I, Yahweh, shal speak. And what I shal say wil come true without delay; for what I shall say, Ishall perform in your own lifetime, you tribe of rebels -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	25 Per che io Signore parlerò, e qualunque parola io hoe parlato sarà fatta, e non si prolungarà più; ma ne' vostri di sarà, casa crudele; io parlerò la parola e farò quella, dice lo Signore Iddio.
26 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	26 E lui disse a me:
27 'Son of man, the House of Israel is now saying, "The vision that this man sees concerns the distantfuture; he is prophesying for times far ahead."	27 O figliuolo d' uomo, ecco la casa d' Israel la quale dice: la visione, la quale costui vede, per molti dì; e per molti tempi profeta costui.
28 Very wel , tell them, "The Lord Yahweh says this: There wil be no further delay in the fulfil ing of anyof my words. What I have said shal be done now -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	28 Però di' a loro: questo dice lo Signore Iddio: lo mio sermone non si prolungherà più; la parola, ch' io averò parlata, si compierà, dice lo Signore Iddio.
