Jeremiah 28

NEW JERUSALEM	DIODATI
1 That same year, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fifth month of the fourthyear, the prophet Hananiah son of Azzur, a Gibeonite, spoke as follows to Jeremiah in the Temple of Yahweh inthe presence of the priests and of al the people,	1 OR avvenne in quello stesso anno, nel principio del regno di Sedechia, re di Giuda, nell’anno quarto, nel quinto mese, che Anania, figliuolo di Azzur, profeta, ch’era da Gabaon, mi parlò nella Casa del Signore, nel cospetto de’ sacerdoti, e di tutto il popolo, dicendo:
2 'Yahweh Sabaoth, the God of Israel, says this, "I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.	2 Così ha detto il Signor degli eserciti, l’Iddio d’Israele: Io ho rotto il giogo del re di Babilonia.
3 In exactly two years' time I shal bring back al the vessels of the Temple of Yahweh whichNebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from here and carried off to Babylon.	3 Infra lo spazio di due anni io farò riportare in questo luogo tutti gli arredi della Casa del Signore, che Nebucadnesar, re di Babilonia, ha tolti di questo luogo, ed ha portati in Babilonia.
4 And I shal also bring back Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah and al the exiles of Judah whohave gone to Babylon, Yahweh declares, for I shal break the yoke of the king of Babylon." '	4 Ed io ricondurrò, dice il Signore, in questo luogo, Geconia, figliuolo di Gioiachim, re di Giuda, e tutti que’ di Giuda, che sono stati menati in cattività, e son venuti in Babilonia; perciocchè io romperò il giogo del re di Babilonia.
5 The prophet Jeremiah then replied to the prophet Hananiah in front of the priests and al the peoplepresent in the Temple of Yahweh.	5 E il profeta Geremia rispose al profeta Anania, nel cospetto de’ sacerdoti, e nel cospetto di tutto il popolo, ch’era presente nella Casa del Signore,
6 'So be it!' the prophet Jeremiah said, 'May Yahweh do so! May he fulfil the words that you haveprophesied and bring al the vessels of the Temple of Yahweh and al the exiles back to this place from Babylon.	6 e disse: Amen; così faccia il Signore; il Signore metta ad effetto le tue parole, che tu hai profetizzate, facendo tornar di Babilonia in questo luogo gli arredi della Casa del Signore, e tutti quelli che sono stati menati in cattività.
7 Listen carefully, however, to this word that I am now going to say for you and al the people to hear:	7 Ma pure, ascolta ora questa parola, la quale io pronunzio in presenza tua ed in presenza di tutto il popolo:
8 From remote times, the prophets who preceded you and me prophesied war, disaster and plague formany countries and for great kingdoms;	8 I profeti che sono stati davanti a me, e davanti a te, ab antico, han profetizzato contro a molti paesi, e contro a gran regni, di guerra, e di fame, e di pestilenza.
9 the prophet who prophesies peace can be recognised as one truly sent by Yahweh only when his wordcomes true.'	9 Quando la parola del profeta, che avrà profetizzato di pace, sarà avvenuta, egli sarà riconosciuto essere il profeta che il Signore avrà mandato in verità
10 The prophet Hananiah then snatched the yoke off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah and broke it.	10 Ma il profeta Anania prese il giogo d’in sul collo del profeta Geremia, e lo ruppe.
11 In front of al the people Hananiah then said, 'Yahweh says this, "This is how, in exactly two years'time, I shall break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and take it off the necks of al the nations." ' Atthis, the prophet Jeremiah went away.	11 Ed Anania parlò nel cospetto di tutto il popolo, dicendo: Così ha detto il Signore: In questo modo romperò, infra lo spazio di due anni, il giogo di Nebucadnesar, re di Babilonia, d’in sul collo di tutte le nazioni. E il profeta Geremia se ne andò a suo cammino.
12 After the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke he had snatched off the prophet Jeremiah's neck,the word of Yahweh came to Jeremiah,	12 E la parola del Signore fu indirizzata a Geremia, dopo che il profeta Anania ebbe rotto il giogo d’in sul collo del profeta Geremia, dicendo:
13 'Go to Hananiah and tell him this, "Yahweh says this: You have broken the wooden yokes only tomake iron yokes to replace them!	13 Va’, e parla ad Anania, dicendo: Così ha detto il Signore: Tu hai rotti i gioghi di legno; ma fattene, in luogo di quelli, degli altri di ferro.
14 For Yahweh Sabaoth, the God of Israel, says this: An iron yoke is what I now lay on the necks of althese nations to enslave them to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. (They wil be enslaved to him; I have evengiven him the wild animals.)" '	14 Perciocchè, così ha detto il Signor degli eserciti, l’Iddio d’Israele: Io ho messo un giogo di ferro in sul collo di tutte queste nazioni; acciocchè servano a Nebucadnesar, re di Babilonia; e gli serviranno; gli ho eziandio dato fino alle fiere della campagna.
15 The prophet Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah, 'Listen careful y, Hananiah: Yahweh has not sentyou; and thanks to you this people is now relying on what is false.	15 Poi il profeta Geremia disse al profeta Anania: Deh! ascolta, o Anania: Il Signore non ti ha mandato, e tu hai fatto confidar questo popolo in menzogna.
16 And so, Yahweh says this, "I am going to send you off the face of the earth: you wil die this year(since you have preached rebel ion against Yahweh)." '	16 Perciò, così ha detto il Signore: Ecco, io ti scaccio d’in su la faccia della terra; quest’anno tu morrai; perchè tu hai parlato di ribellione contro al Signore.
17 The prophet Hananiah died the same year, in the seventh month.	17 E il profeta Anania morì quello stesso anno, nel settimo mese
