Leviticus 3

1 "If someone in presenting a peace offering makes his offering from the herd, he may offer before the LORD either a male or a female animal, but it must be without blemish.	1 Quando uno offrirà un'ostia pacifica, se vorrà offrire dei buoi, presenterà dinanzi al Signore un maschio o una femmina senza difetti,
2 He shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and then slaughter it at the entrance of the meeting tent; but Aaron's sons, the priests, shall splash its blood on the sides of the altar.	2 porrà la mano sul capo della sua vittima, che verrà immolata all'ingresso del Tabernacolo della testimonianza, e i sacerdoti figli d'Aronne spargeranno il sangue attorno all'altare.
3 From the peace offering he shall offer as an oblation to the LORD the fatty membrane over the inner organs, and all the fat that adheres to them,	3 E di questa ostia pacifica essi offriranno in oblazione al Signore il grasso che copre le interiora e tutto ciò che vi è di grasso nell'interno:
4 as well as the two kidneys, with the fat on them near the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall sever above the kidneys.	4 i due reni col grasso che ricopre i lombi e la rete del fegato coi reni.
5 All this Aaron's sons shall then burn on the altar with the holocaust, on the wood over the fire, as a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.	5 Queste cose le brucer anno in olocausto sopra l'altare, messo il fuoco sotto le legna, in oblazione di soavissimo odore al Signore.
6 "If the peace offering he presents to the LORD is from the flock, he may offer either a male or a female animal, but it must be without blemish.	6 Se poi l'offerta e l'ostia pacifica sarà di pecore, maschio o femmina che siano devono essere senza difetti.
7 If he presents a lamb as his offering, he shall bring it before the LORD,	7 Se offrirà davanti al Signore un agnello,
8 and after laying his hand on the head of his offering, he shall slaughter it before the meeting tent; but Aaron's sons shall splash its blood on the sides of the altar.	8 porrà la sua mano sul capo della sua vittima che sarà immolata nel vestibolo del Tabernacolo della testimonianza: e i figli d'Aronne ne spargeranno il sangue attorno all'altare.
9 As an oblation to the LORD he shall present the fat of the peace offering: the whole fatty tail, which he must sever close to the spine, the fatty membrane over the inner organs, and all the fat that adheres to them,	9 E di questa ostia pacifica offriranno in sacrifizio al Signore il grasso e tutta la coda
10 as well as the two kidneys, with the fat on them near the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he must sever above the kidneys.	10 coi reni, il grasso che copre il ventre e tutte le viscere, l'uno e l'altro rene col grasso intorno ai lombi, e la rete del fegato coi reni.
11 All this the priest shall burn on the altar as the food of the LORD'S oblation.	11 E il sacerdote farà, bruciare, divorare dal fuoco queste cose sopra l'altare in oblazione al Signore.
12 "If he presents a goat, he shall bring it before the LORD,	12 Se l'offerta è una capra, quando l'offre al Signore,
13 and after laying his hand on its head, he shall slaughter it before the meeting tent; but Aaron's sons shall splash its blood on the sides of the altar.	13 dopo averle posta la mano sul capo, la immolerà all'ingresso del Tabernacolo della testimonianza. E i figli di Aronne ne spargeranno il sangue attorno all'altare.
14 From it he shall offer as an oblation to the LORD the fatty membrane over the inner organs, and all the fat that adheres to them,	14 E di essa prenderanno ad alimento del fuoco del Signore il grasso che copre il ventre ed è disteso sopra tutte le viscere,
15 as well as the two kidneys, with the fat on them near the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he must sever above the kidneys.	15 i due reni colla rete che sta sopra di essi e copre i lombi, il grasso del fegato coi reni.
16 All this the priest shall burn on the altar as the food of the sweet-smelling oblation. All the fat belongs to the LORD.	16 Le quali cose dal sacerdote saranno bruciate sopra l'altare in alimento del fuoco, e in soavissimo odore. Tutto il grasso sarà del Signore
17 This shall be a perpetual ordinance for your descendants wherever they may dwell. You shall not partake of any fat or any blood."	17 per legge perpetua in tutte le vostre generazioni, in ogni vostra dimora: non mangerete mai nè sangue, nè grasso ».
