Psalms 127

NEW AMERICAN BIBLE	LXX
1 A song of ascents. Of Solomon. Unless the LORD build the house, they labor in vain who build. Unless the LORD guard the city, in vain does the guard keep watch.	1 ωδη των αναβαθμων μακαριοι παντες οι φοβουμενοι τον κυριον οι πορευομενοι εν ταις οδοις αυτου
2 It is vain for you to rise early and put off your rest at night, To eat bread earned by hard toil-- all this God gives to his beloved in sleep.	2 τους πονους των καρπων σου φαγεσαι μακαριος ει και καλως σοι εσται
3 Children too are a gift from the LORD, the fruit of the womb, a reward.	3 η γυνη σου ως αμπελος ευθηνουσα εν τοις κλιτεσι της οικιας σου οι υιοι σου ως νεοφυτα ελαιων κυκλω της τραπεζης σου
4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children born in one's youth.	4 ιδου ουτως ευλογηθησεται ανθρωπος ο φοβουμενος τον κυριον
5 Blessed are they whose quivers are full. They will never be shamed contending with foes at the gate.	5 ευλογησαι σε κυριος εκ σιων και ιδοις τα αγαθα ιερουσαλημ πασας τας ημερας της ζωης σου
	6 και ιδοις υιους των υιων σου ειρηνη επι τον ισραηλ
