1 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:	1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 Tu darai quest'ordine a' figliuoli d'Israele, e dirai loro: Quando sarete entrati nellaterra di Canaan, e ne avrete tirate a sorte le porzioni da possedere, i confini di essasaranno questi:	2 “Instruct the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: When you will have entered into the land of Canaan, and it has fallen into your possession by lot, it shall be bound by these limits:
3 La parte di mezzogiorno comincerà dalla solitudine di Sin, che è presso a Edom: e avrà persuoi limiti all'oriente il mar salato.	3 The southern part shall begin from the wilderness of Sin, which is next to Edom, and it shall have the Sea of Salt as a limit to the east.
4 E (questi confini) gireranno al mezzodì, per la salita dello Scorpione, e passeranno perSenna, e arriveranno dal mezzodì fino a Cadesbarne: di dove i confini arriveranno fino alvillaggio chiamato Adar, e si stenderanno fino ad Asemona:	4 It shall circle on the south side along the ascent of the Scorpion, by this way crossing into Senna, and passing through, from the south, as far as Kadesh-barnea, from which its confines shall go out to the town called Adar, and extend even to Azmon.
5 E anderanno girando da Asemona fino al torrente di Egitto, e finiranno al lido del margrande.	5 And its limits shall go around from Azmon to the Torrent of Egypt, and shall end at the shore of the Great Sea.
6 La parte occidentale comincerà al mar grande, e finirà allo stesso mare.	6 Then the western region shall begin from the Great Sea, and the same shall be its end.
7 A settentrione principieranno i confini del mar grande, e arriveranno fino al montealtissimo,	7 Furthermore, toward the northern region, its limits shall begin from the Great Sea, passing through even to the highest mountain.
8 Di dove andranno verso Emath fino al territorio di Sedada:	8 From there, it limits shall advance into Hamath, as far as the limits of Zedad.
9 E si stenderanno fino a Zephrona, e al villaggio di Enan: questi saranno i confini dallaparte di settentrione:	9 And its confines shall go all the way to Ziphron, and to the village of Enan. These shall be the limits on the northern side.
10 Indi i confini verso l'oriente si prenderanno dal villaggio di Enan fino a Sephama:	10 From there, its limits shall be measured, facing the east side, from the village of Enan as far as Shepham.
11 E da Sephama scenderanno a Rebla dirimpetto alla fontana di Daphnim: di là si stenderannoall'oriente fino al mare di Cenereth:	11 And from Shepham, the boundaries shall descend into Riblah, opposite the fountain of Daphnis. From there, the boundaries shall pass through, opposite the east, to the Sea of Chinnereth,
12 E arriveranno sino al Giordano, e finalmente saran chiusi dal mare salato. Questa è la terraco' suoi confini, che la serrano da ogni parte, la quale voi possederete.	12 and shall extend as far as the Jordan, and, at the furthest extent, shall be enclosed by the Sea of Salt. You shall have this land, with its borders all around.”
13 E Mosè diede ordine a' figliuoli d'Israele, e disse: Questa sarà la terra, la quale vi saràdistribuita a sorte, e il Signore ha ordinato ch'ella sia data alle nove, tribù, e mezza.	13 And Moses instructed the sons of Israel, saying: “This shall be the land which you shall possess by lot, and which the Lord has ordered to be given to the nine tribes, and to the half tribe.
14 Imperocché la tribù dei figliuoli di Ruben colle sue famiglie, e la tribù de' figliuoli diGad con tutto il numero di sue famiglie, e anche mezza la tribù di Manasse,	14 For the tribe of the sons of Ruben, by their families, and the tribe of the sons of Gad, according to the number of their kinships, and also one half of the tribe of Manasseh,
15 Vale a dire due tribù e mezza hanno avuta la loro porzione di là dal Giordano dirimpetto aGerico verso l'oriente.	15 that is, two and a half tribes, have received their portion across the Jordan, opposite Jericho, toward the eastern side.”
16 E il Signore disse a Mosè:	16 And the Lord said to Moses:
17 Questi sono i nomi degli uomini, i quali faranno tra voi lo scompartimento della terra:Eleazaro sacerdote, e Giosuè figliuolo di Nun.	17 “These are the names of the men, who shall divide the land for you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun,
18 E un principe di ciascuna tribù,	18 and one leader from each tribe,
19 De' quali st questi i nomi: Della tribù di Giuda, Caleb figliuolo di Jephone.	19 whose names are these: from the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh;
20 Della tribù di Simeon, Samuel figliuolo di Ammiud.	20 from the tribe of Simeon, Samuel the son of Ammihud;
21 Della tribù di Beniamin, Elidad figliuolo di Chaselon.	21 from the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon;
22 Della tribù de' figliuoli di Dan, Bocci figliuolo di Jogli.	22 from the tribe of the sons of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli;
23 De' figliuoli di Joseph della tribù di Manasse, Hanniel figliuolo di Ephod.	23 of the sons of Joseph, from the tribe of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod;
24 Della tribù di Ephraim, Camuel figliuolo di Sephthan.	24 from the tribe of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan;
25 Della tribù di Zabulon, Elisaphan figliuolo di Pharnach.	25 from the tribe of Zebulon, Elizaphan the son of Parnach;
26 Della tribù d Issachar, il principe Phaltiel figliuolo di Ozan.	26 from the tribe of Issachar, Paltiel the leader, the son of Azzan;
27 Della tribù di Aser, Ahiud figliuolo di Salomi.	27 from the tribe of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi;
28 Della tribù di Nephthali, Phedael figliuolo di Ammiud.	28 from the tribe of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”
29 Questi sono coloro, ai quali il Signore diede ordine di fare la divisione della terra diCanaan tra i figliuoli d'Israele.	29 These are the ones that the Lord has ordered to divide the land of Canaan to the sons of Israel.
