1 και ουτοι σταθμοι των υιων ισραηλ ως εξηλθον εκ γης αιγυπτου συν δυναμει αυτων εν χειρι μωυση και ααρων	1 The following are the stages by which the Israelites journeyed up by companies from the land of Egypt under the guidance of Moses and Aaron.
2 και εγραψεν μωυσης τας απαρσεις αυτων και τους σταθμους αυτων δια ρηματος κυριου και ουτοι σταθμοι της πορειας αυτων	2 By the LORD'S command Moses recorded the starting places of the various stages. The starting places of the successive stages were:
3 απηραν εκ ραμεσση τω μηνι τω πρωτω τη πεντεκαιδεκατη ημερα του μηνος του πρωτου τη επαυριον του πασχα εξηλθον οι υιοι ισραηλ εν χειρι υψηλη εναντιον παντων των αιγυπτιων	3 They set out from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month. On the Passover morrow the Israelites went forth in triumph, in view of all Egypt,
4 και οι αιγυπτιοι εθαπτον εξ αυτων τους τεθνηκοτας παντας ους επαταξεν κυριος παν πρωτοτοκον εν γη αιγυπτω και εν τοις θεοις αυτων εποιησεν την εκδικησιν κυριος	4 While the Egyptians buried their first-born all of whom the LORD had struck down; on their gods, too, the LORD executed judgments.
5 και απαραντες οι υιοι ισραηλ εκ ραμεσση παρενεβαλον εις σοκχωθ	5 Setting out from Rameses, the Israelites camped at Succoth.
6 και απηραν εκ σοκχωθ και παρενεβαλον εις βουθαν ο εστιν μερος τι της ερημου	6 Setting out from Succoth, they camped at Etham near the edge of the desert.
7 και απηραν εκ βουθαν και παρενεβαλον επι στομα ειρωθ ο εστιν απεναντι βεελσεπφων και παρενεβαλον απεναντι μαγδωλου	7 Setting out from Etham, they turned back to Pi-hahiroth, which is opposite Baal-zephon, and they camped opposite Migdol.
8 και απηραν απεναντι ειρωθ και διεβησαν μεσον της θαλασσης εις την ερημον και επορευθησαν οδον τριων ημερων δια της ερημου αυτοι και παρενεβαλον εν πικριαις	8 Setting out from Pi-hahiroth, they crossed over through the sea into the desert, and after a three days' journey in the desert of Etham, they camped at Marah.
9 και απηραν εκ πικριων και ηλθον εις αιλιμ και εν αιλιμ δωδεκα πηγαι υδατων και εβδομηκοντα στελεχη φοινικων και παρενεβαλον εκει παρα το υδωρ	9 Setting out from Marah, they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they camped there.
10 και απηραν εξ αιλιμ και παρενεβαλον επι θαλασσαν ερυθραν	10 Setting out from Elim, they camped beside the Red Sea.
11 και απηραν απο θαλασσης ερυθρας και παρενεβαλον εις την ερημον σιν	11 Setting out from the Red Sea, they camped in the desert of Sin.
12 και απηραν εκ της ερημου σιν και παρενεβαλον εις ραφακα	12 Setting out from the desert of Sin, they camped at Dophkah.
13 και απηραν εκ ραφακα και παρενεβαλον εν αιλους	13 Setting out from Dophkah, they camped at Alush.
14 και απηραν εξ αιλους και παρενεβαλον εν ραφιδιν και ουκ ην υδωρ τω λαω πιειν εκει	14 Setting out from Alush, they camped at Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.
15 και απηραν εκ ραφιδιν και παρενεβαλον εν τη ερημω σινα	15 Setting out from Rephidim, they camped in the desert of Sinai.
16 και απηραν εκ της ερημου σινα και παρενεβαλον εν μνημασιν της επιθυμιας	16 Setting out from the desert of Sinai, they camped at Kibroth-hattaavah.
17 και απηραν εκ μνηματων επιθυμιας και παρενεβαλον εν ασηρωθ	17 Setting out from Kibroth-hattaavah, they camped at Hazeroth.
18 και απηραν εξ ασηρωθ και παρενεβαλον εν ραθαμα	18 Setting out from Hazeroth, they camped at Rithmah.
19 και απηραν εκ ραθαμα και παρενεβαλον εν ρεμμων φαρες	19 Setting out from Rithmah, they camped at Rimmon-perez.
20 και απηραν εκ ρεμμων φαρες και παρενεβαλον εν λεμωνα	20 Setting out from Rimmon-perez, they camped at Libnah.
21 και απηραν εκ λεμωνα και παρενεβαλον εις δεσσα	21 Setting out from Libnah, they camped at Rissah.
22 και απηραν εκ δεσσα και παρενεβαλον εις μακελλαθ	22 Setting out from Rissah, they camped at Kehelathah.
23 και απηραν εκ μακελλαθ και παρενεβαλον εις σαφαρ	23 Setting out from Kehelathah, they camped at Mount Shepher.
24 και απηραν εκ σαφαρ και παρενεβαλον εις χαραδαθ	24 Setting out from Mount Shepher, they camped at Haradah.
25 και απηραν εκ χαραδαθ και παρενεβαλον εις μακηλωθ	25 Setting out from Haradah, they camped at Makheloth.
26 και απηραν εκ μακηλωθ και παρενεβαλον εις κατααθ	26 Setting out from Makheloth, they camped at Tahath.
27 και απηραν εκ κατααθ και παρενεβαλον εις ταραθ	27 Setting out from Tahath, they camped at Terah.
28 και απηραν εκ ταραθ και παρενεβαλον εις ματεκκα	28 Setting out from Terah, they camped at Mithkah.
29 και απηραν εκ ματεκκα και παρενεβαλον εις σελμωνα	29 Setting out from Mithkah, they camped at Hashmonah.
30 και απηραν εκ σελμωνα και παρενεβαλον εις μασσουρουθ	30 Setting out from Hashmonah,-They camped at Moseroth.
31 και απηραν εκ μασσουρουθ και παρενεβαλον εις βαναια	31 Setting out from Moseroth, they camped at Bene-jaakan.
32 και απηραν εκ βαναια και παρενεβαλον εις το ορος γαδγαδ	32 Setting out from Bene-jaakan, they camped at Mount Gidgad.
33 και απηραν εκ του ορους γαδγαδ και παρενεβαλον εις ετεβαθα	33 Setting out from Mount Gidgad, they camped at Jotbathah.
34 και απηραν εξ ετεβαθα και παρενεβαλον εις εβρωνα	34 Setting out from Jotbathah, they camped at Abronah.
35 και απηραν εξ εβρωνα και παρενεβαλον εις γεσιωνγαβερ	35 Setting out from Abronah, they camped at Ezion-geber.
36 και απηραν εκ γεσιωνγαβερ και παρενεβαλον εν τη ερημω σιν και απηραν εκ της ερημου σιν και παρενεβαλον εις την ερημον φαραν αυτη εστιν καδης	36 Setting out from Ezion-geber,-They camped in the desert of Zin, at Kadesh.
37 και απηραν εκ καδης και παρενεβαλον εις ωρ το ορος πλησιον γης εδωμ	37 Setting out from Kadesh, they camped at Mount Hor on the border of the land of Edom.
38 και ανεβη ααρων ο ιερευς δια προσταγματος κυριου και απεθανεν εκει εν τω τεσσαρακοστω ετει της εξοδου των υιων ισραηλ εκ γης αιγυπτου τω μηνι τω πεμπτω μια του μηνος	38 (Aaron the priest ascended Mount Hor at the LORD'S command, and there he died in the fortieth year from the departure of the Israelites from the land of Egypt, on the first day of the fifth month.
39 και ααρων ην τριων και εικοσι και εκατον ετων οτε απεθνησκεν εν ωρ τω ορει	39 Aaron was a hundred and twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.
40 και ακουσας ο χανανις βασιλευς αραδ και ουτος κατωκει εν γη χανααν οτε εισεπορευοντο οι υιοι ισραηλ	40 Now, when the Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the Negeb in the land of Canaan, heard that the Israelites were coming. . . . )
41 και απηραν εξ ωρ του ορους και παρενεβαλον εις σελμωνα	41 Setting out from Mount Hor,-They camped at Zalmonah.
42 και απηραν εκ σελμωνα και παρενεβαλον εις φινω	42 Setting out from Zalmonah, they camped at Punon.
43 και απηραν εκ φινω και παρενεβαλον εις ωβωθ	43 Setting out from Punon, they camped at Oboth.
44 και απηραν εξ ωβωθ και παρενεβαλον εν γαι εν τω περαν επι των οριων μωαβ	44 Setting out from Oboth, they camped at Iye-abarim on the border of Moab.
45 και απηραν εκ γαι και παρενεβαλον εις δαιβων γαδ	45 Setting out from Iye-abarim, they camped at Dibon-gad.
46 και απηραν εκ δαιβων γαδ και παρενεβαλον εν γελμων δεβλαθαιμ	46 Setting out from Dibon-gad, they camped at Almon-diblathaim.
47 και απηραν εκ γελμων δεβλαθαιμ και παρενεβαλον επι τα ορη τα αβαριμ απεναντι ναβαυ	47 Setting out from Almon-diblathaim, they camped in the Abarim Mountains opposite Nebo.
48 και απηραν απο ορεων αβαριμ και παρενεβαλον επι δυσμων μωαβ επι του ιορδανου κατα ιεριχω	48 Setting out from the Abarim Mountains, they camped on the plains of Moab along the Jericho stretch of the Jordan.
49 και παρενεβαλον παρα τον ιορδανην ανα μεσον αισιμωθ εως βελσαττιμ κατα δυσμας μωαβ	49 Their camp along the Jordan on the plains of Moab extended from Beth-jeshimoth to Abelshittim.
50 και ελαλησεν κυριος προς μωυσην επι δυσμων μωαβ παρα τον ιορδανην κατα ιεριχω λεγων	50 The LORD spoke to Moses on the plains of Moab beside the Jericho stretch of the Jordan and said to him:
51 λαλησον τοις υιοις ισραηλ και ερεις προς αυτους υμεις διαβαινετε τον ιορδανην εις γην χανααν	51 "Tell the Israelites: When you go across the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
52 και απολειτε παντας τους κατοικουντας εν τη γη προ προσωπου υμων και εξαρειτε τας σκοπιας αυτων και παντα τα ειδωλα τα χωνευτα αυτων απολειτε αυτα και πασας τας στηλας αυτων εξαρειτε	52 drive out all the inhabitants of the land before you; destroy all their stone figures and molten images, and demolish all their high places.
53 και απολειτε παντας τους κατοικουντας την γην και κατοικησετε εν αυτη υμιν γαρ δεδωκα την γην αυτων εν κληρω	53 "You shall take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given you the land as your property.
54 και κατακληρονομησετε την γην αυτων εν κληρω κατα φυλας υμων τοις πλειοσιν πληθυνειτε την κατασχεσιν αυτων και τοις ελαττοσιν ελαττωσετε την κατασχεσιν αυτων εις ο εαν εξελθη το ονομα αυτου εκει αυτου εσται κατα φυλας πατριων υμων κληρονομησετε	54 You shall apportion the land among yourselves by lot, clan by clan, assigning a large heritage to a large group and a small heritage to a small group. Wherever anyone's lot falls, there shall his property be within the heritage of his ancestral tribe.
55 εαν δε μη απολεσητε τους κατοικουντας επι της γης απο προσωπου υμων και εσται ους εαν καταλιπητε εξ αυτων σκολοπες εν τοις οφθαλμοις υμων και βολιδες εν ταις πλευραις υμων και εχθρευσουσιν επι της γης εφ' ην υμεις κατοικησετε	55 "But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land before you, those whom you allow to remain will become as barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they will harass you in the country where you live,
56 και εσται καθοτι διεγνωκειν ποιησαι αυτους ποιησω υμιν	56 and I will treat you as I had intended to treat them."
