Isaiah 62

1 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.	1 Sion zulieb darf ich nicht schweigen, Jerusalems wegen nicht stillhalten, bis hervorgeht wie Lichtglanz seine Gerechtigkeit und sein Heil wie eine Fackel entbrennt.
2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.	2 Völker werden deine Gerechtigkeit schauen und alle Könige deine Herrlichkeit. Du wirst mit einem neuen Namen genannt, der geprägt wird vom Munde des Herrn.
3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.	3 Du wirst eine prächtige Krone sein in des Herrn Hand, ein Königsdiadem in der Hand deines Gottes.
4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.	4 Nicht länger wird man dich "Verlassene" nennen noch dein Land "Vereinsamte" heißen, sondern man nennt dich "Meine Lust an ihr" und dein Land "Vermählte". Denn der Herr hat an dir seine Lust, und dein Land wird vermählt.
5 For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.	5 Wie sich nämlich der Jüngling mit der Jungfrau vermählt, so vermählt sich mit dir dein Erbauer; wie der Bräutigam sich freut über die Braut, so freut sich über dich dein Gott.
6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,	6 Über deine Mauern, Jerusalem, habe ich Wächter beordert, den ganzen Tag und die ganze Nacht dürfen sie niemals schweigen! Ihr, die ihr den Herrn erinnern sollt, gönnt euch nicht Ruhe,
7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.	7 und auch ihm laßt keine Ruhe, bis er Jerusalem wiederherstellt und zum Ruhm auf Erden macht!
8 The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:	8 Der Herr schwur bei seiner rechten Hand und bei seinem gewaltigen Arm: "Nie wieder gebe ich dein Korn deinen Feinden zur Nahrung; Ausländer trinken deinen Most nicht mehr, um den du dich abgemüht.
9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.	9 Nein, wer es eingeerntet, soll es genießen und den Herrn preisen; wer den Most eingeheimst, soll ihn trinken in meines Heiligtums Höfen!"
10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.	10 Zieht ein, zieht ein durch die Tore, bahnt des Volkes Weg, baut, ja baut die Straße, macht von Steinen sie frei, hebt über die Völker ein Panier!
11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.	11 Seht, der Herr macht es bekannt bis an das Ende der Erde: Sagt der Tochter Sion: Fürwahr, es kommt dein Heil! Siehe, die er sich erworben, kommen mit ihm; und die er sich verdient hat, ziehen vor ihm her!
12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.	12 Dann nennt man sie "Heiliges Volk", "Erlöste des Herrn", dich aber nennt man "Gesuchte", "Nichtverlassene Stadt".
