1 I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.	1 Louange de David. Je Vous exalterai, ô Dieu mon roi, * et je bénirai Votre Nom à jamais et dans les siècles des siècles.
2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.	2 Chaque jour je Vous bénirai, * et je louerai Votre Nom à jamais, et dans les siècles des siècles.
3 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.	3 Le Seigneur est grand et très digne de louange, * et Sa grandeur n'a pas de bornes.
4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.	4 Chaque génération louera Vos oeuvres * et publiera Votre puissance.
5 I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.	5 On parlera de la magnificence glorieuse de Votre sainteté, * et on racontera Vos merveilles.
6 And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.	6 On dira quelle est la puissance de Vos oeuvres terribles, * et on racontera Votre grandeur.
7 They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.	7 On proclamera le souvenir de Votre immense bonté, * et on se réjouira de Votre justice.
8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.	8 Le Seigneur est clément et miséricordieux, * patient et tout à fait miséricordieux.
9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.	9 Le Seigneur est bon envers tous, * et Ses miséricordes s'étendent sur toutes Ses oeuvres.
10 All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.	10 Que toutes Vos oeuvres Vous célèbrent, Seigneur, * et que Vos saints Vous bénissent.
11 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;	11 Ils diront la gloire de Votre règne, * et ils parleront de Votre puissance;
12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.	12 afin de faire connaître aux enfants des hommes Votre puissance, * et la glorieuse magnificence de Votre règne.
13 Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.	13 Votre règne est un règne de tous les siècles, * et Votre empire s'étend de génération en génération. Le Seigneur est fidèle dans toutes Ses paroles, * et saint dans toutes Ses oeuvres.
14 The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.	14 Le Seigneur soutient tous ceux qui tombent, * et Il relève tous ceux qui sont brisés.
15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.	15 Les yeux de tous, Seigneur, attendent tournés vers Vous, * et Vous leur donnez leur nourriture en son temps.
16 Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.	16 Vous ouvrez Votre main, * et Vous comblez de bénédictions tout ce qui a vie.
17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.	17 Le Seigneur est juste dans toutes Ses voies, * et saint dans toutes Ses oeuvres.
18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.	18 Le Seigneur est près de tous ceux qui L'invoquent, * de tous ceux qui L'invoquent avec sincérité.
19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.	19 Il fera la volonté de ceux qui Le craignent; * Il exaucera leurs prières, et Il les sauvera.
20 The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.	20 Le Seigneur garde tous ceux qui L'aiment, * et Il perdra tous les pécheurs.
21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.	21 Ma bouche publiera la louange du Seigneur. * Et que toute chair bénisse Son saint Nom à jamais, et dans les siècles des siècles.
