1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.	1 Alléluia! Louez, serviteurs du Seigneur, louez le nom du Seigneur!
2 Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.	2 Car il faut bénir le nom du Seigneur aujourd’hui et toujours.
3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised.	3 Des terres du levant jusques en occident louez le nom du Seigneur!
4 The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.	4 Le Seigneur domine toutes les nations, sa gloire est bien au-dessus des cieux.
5 Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,	5 Qui est semblable au Seigneur notre Dieu? Il siège très haut,
6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!	6 mais il sait se pencher, il observe la terre aussi bien que le ciel.
7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;	7 Il ramasse le pauvre à terre, il va chercher sur son fumier le miséreux,
8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.	8 pour lui donner un siège entre les grands, entre les nobles de son peuple.
9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.	9 Il donne un foyer à la femme stérile, maintenant elle est mère et joyeuse avec ses enfants!
