Ezekiel 25

1 I dođe mi riječ Jahvina:	1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,
2 »Sine čovječji, okreni lice k sinovima Amonovim te prorokuj protiv njih!	2 'Son of man, turn towards the Ammonites and prophesy against them.
3 Reci sinovima Amonovim: Poslušajte riječ Jahve Gospoda! Ovako govori Jahve Gospod: ‘Zato što vi klicaste ‘ha, ha!’ nad mojim svetištem kad ono bijaše oskvrnuto, i nad zemljom Izraelovom kad ona bijaše opustošena, i nad domom Judinim kad odlažaše u izgnanstvo,	3 Say to the Ammonites, "Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh. The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since yougloated over my sanctuary when it was profaned, and over the land of Israel when it was ravaged, and over theHouse of Judah when it went into exile,
4 predat ću vas, evo, u posjed sinovima Istoka da usred vas razapnu svoje šatore, udare svoja prebivališta. Oni neka jedu tvoje plodove i piju mlijeko tvoje!	4 I shal let the sons of the East take possession of you; they wil pitch their camps inside you, they wilmake their home in you. They will be the ones to eat your produce and drink your milk.
5 Od Rabe ću pašnjake za deve načiniti, a u zemlji Amonovih sinova torove ću za ovce podići. I znat ćete da sam ja Jahve!’	5 I shal turn Rabbah into a camel yard and the towns of Ammon into sheepfolds. And so you wil knowthat I am Yahweh.
6 Jer ovako govori Jahve Gospod: ‘Zato što si pljeskao rukama i udarao nogama i svom se dušom radovao nad zemljom Izraelovom,	6 "The Lord Yahweh says this: Since you have clapped your hands and danced for joy, ful of maliciousdelight at Israel's fate,
7 ja ću, evo, ruku na te podići i kao plijen te predati narodima! Istrijebit ću te iz narodâ, iskorijeniti iz zemalja! Zatrijet ću te! I znat ćeš da sam ja Jahve!’«	7 my hand wil be against you for this; I shall hand you over to be looted by the peoples, obliterate youas a nation and wipe you out as a country. I shal reduce you to nothing, and you wil know that I am Yahweh.
8 »Ovako govori Jahve Gospod: ‘Zato što Moab i Seir govorahu: ‘Gle, dom je Judin poput svih naroda’,	8 "The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since Moab and Seir have said: Look at the House of Judah; it is nodifferent from any other nation;
9 otkrit ću, evo, obronke moapske, da s kraja na kraj ostane bez gradova što bijahu ukras zemlje: Bet Haješimot, Baal Meon i Kirjatajim.	9 very wel , I shall expose Moab's heights; its cities will no longer be cities throughout the land -- thejewels of the country, Beth-Jeshimoth, Baal-Meon and Kiriathaim.
10 Dat ću ih u posjed sinovima Istoka, neprijateljima Amonaca, da se sinovi Amonovi među narodima više ne spominju!	10 I shal let the sons of the East and the Ammonites take possession of them, so that they wil nolonger be remembered by the nations.
11 Tako ću izvršiti sud nad Moabom. I znat će da sam ja Jahve!’«	11 I shal bring Moab to justice, and they will know that I am Yahweh.
12 »Ovako govori Jahve Gospod: ‘Zato što se Edom osveti domu Judinu i tom se osvetom teško ogriješi,	12 "The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since Edom has taken revenge on the House of Judah and committedgreat crimes in doing so,
13 ovako govori Jahve Gospod: Podići ću ruku na Edom, istrijebit ću iz njega ljude i životinje! Pretvorit ću ga u pustinju: od Temana do Dedana svi će od mača izginuti.	13 very well, the Lord Yahweh says this: My hand wil be against Edom and denude it of human andanimal. I shal lay it waste, from Teman as far as Dedan they wil be put to the sword.
14 Tako ću se osvetiti Edomu rukom svojega naroda izraelskog. Oni će postupiti s Edomom prema mojem gnjevu i mojoj srdžbi. I spoznat će moju osvetu!’ – riječ je Jahve Gospoda.«	14 I shal take vengeance on Edom by means of my people Israel. They wil treat Edom as my angerand fury dictate, and they wil know this is my vengeance -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
15 »Ovako govori Jahve Gospod: ‘Zato što Filistejci izvršiše odmazdu, krvavo se osvećujući s mržnjom u srcu, razarajući sve zbog svojeg neprijateljstva,	15 "The Lord Yahweh says this, "Since the Philistines have acted in revenge and, motivated by malice,have taken revenge, doing their best to destroy because of their long-standing hatred,
16 ovako govori Jahve Gospod: Evo, podižem ruku na Filistejce, istrijebit ću Kerećane, uništit ću sve što preostane na morskoj obali!	16 very well, the Lord Yahweh says this: My hand wil be against the Philistines; I shal exterminate theCherethites and destroy the rest of the coastal peoples.
17 Tako ću im se strašno osvetiti kaznama jarosnim. I kad im se osvetim, znat će da sam ja Jahve.’«	17 I shal perform frightful acts of vengeance and inflict furious punishments on them; and they will knowthat I am Yahweh, when I exact my vengeance on them." '
