1 And Jesus being come out of the temple, went away. And his disciples came to shew him the buildings of the temple.	1 Salió Jesús del Templo y, cuando se iba, se le acercaron sus discípulos para mostrarle las construcciones del Templo.
2 And he answering, said to them: Do you see all these things? Amen I say to you there shall not be left here a stone upon a stone that shall not be destroyed.	2 Pero él les respondió: «¿Veis todo esto? Yo os aseguro no quedará aquí piedra sobre piedra que no sea derruida».
3 And when he was sitting on mount Olivet, the disciples came to him privately, saying: Tell us when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the consummation of the world?	3 Estando luego sentado en el monte de los Olivos, se acercaron a él en privado sus discípulos, y le dijeron: «Dinos cuándo sucederá eso, y cuál será la señal de tu venida y del fin del mundo».
4 And Jesus answering, said to them: Take heed that no man seduce you:	4 Jesús les respondió: «Mirad que no os engañe nadie.
5 For many will come in my name saying, I am Christ: and they will seduce many.	5 Porque vendrán muchos usurpando mi nombre y diciendo: “Yo soy el Cristo”, y engañarán a muchos.
6 And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that ye be not troubled. For these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.	6 Oiréis también hablar de guerras y rumores de guerras. ¡Cuidado, no os alarméis! Porque eso es necesario que suceda, pero no es todavía el fin.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be pestilences, and famines, and earthquakes in places:	7 Pues se levantará nación contra nación y reino contra reino, y habrá en diversos lugares hambre y terremotos.
8 Now all these are the beginnings of sorrows.	8 Todo esto será el comienzo de los dolores de alumbramiento.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall put you to death: and you shall be hated by all nations for my name's sake.	9 «Entonces os entregarán a la tortura y os matarán, y seréis odiados de todas las naciones por causa de mi nombre.
10 And then shall many be scandalized: and shall betray one another: and shall hate one another.	10 Muchos se escandalizarán entonces y se traicionarán y odiarán mutuamente.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall seduce many.	11 Surgirán muchos falsos profetas, que engañarán a muchos.
12 And because iniquity hath abounded, the charity of many shall grow cold.	12 Y al crecer cada vez más la iniquidad, la caridad de la mayoría se enfriará.
13 But he that shall persevere to the end, he shall be saved.	13 Pero el que persevere hasta el fin, ése se salvará.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom, shall be preached in the whole world, for a testimony to all nations, and then shall the consummation come.	14 «Se proclamará esta Buena Nueva del Reino en el mundo entero, para dar testimonio a todas las naciones. Y entonces vendrá el fin.
15 When therefore you shall see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place: he that readeth let him understand.	15 «Cuando veáis, pues, la abominación de la desolación, anunciada por el profeta Daniel, erigida en el Lugar Santo (el que lea, que entienda),
16 Then they that are in Judea, let them flee to the mountains:	16 entonces, los que estén en Judea, huyan a los montes;
17 And he that is on the housetop, let him not come down to take any thing out of his house:	17 el que esté en el terrado, no baje a recoger las cosas de su casa;
18 And he that is in the field, let him not go back to take his coat.	18 y el que esté en el campo, no regrese en busca de su manto.
19 And woe to them that are with child, and that give suck in those days.	19 ¡Ay de las que estén encinta o criando en aquellos días!
20 But pray that your flight be not in the winter, or on the sabbath.	20 Orad para que vuestra huida no suceda en invierno ni en día de sábado.
21 For there shall be then great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, neither shall be.	21 Porque habrá entonces una gran tribulación, cual no la hubo desde el principio del mundo hasta el presente ni volverá a haberla.
22 And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh should be saved: but for the sake of the elect those days shall be shortened.	22 Y si aquellos días no se abreviasen, no se salvaría nadie; pero en atención a los elegidos se abreviarán aquellos días.
23 Then if any man shall say to you: Lo here is Christ, or there, do not believe him.	23 «Entonces, si alguno os dice: “Mirad, el Cristo está aquí o allí, no lo creáis.
24 For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect.	24 Porque surgirán falsos cristos y falsos profetas, que harán grandes señales y prodigios, capaces de engañar, si fuera posible, a los mismos elegidos.
25 Behold I have told it to you, beforehand.	25 ¡Mirad que os lo he predicho!
26 If therefore they shall say to you: Behold he is in the desert, go ye not out: Behold he is in the closets, believe it not.	26 «Así que si os dicen: “Está en el desierto”, no salgáis; “Está en los aposentos”, no lo creáis.
27 For as lightning cometh out of the east, and appeareth even into the west: so shall the coming of the Son of man be.	27 Porque como el relámpago sale por oriente y brilla hasta occidente, así será la venida del Hijo del hombre.
28 Wheresoever the body shall be, there shall the eagles also be gathered together.	28 Donde esté el cadáver, allí se juntarán los buitres.
29 And immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven shall be moved:	29 «Inmediatamente después de la tribulación de aquellos días, el sol se oscurecerá, la luna no dará su resplandor, las estrellas caerán del cielo, y las fuerzas de los cielos serán sacudidas.
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all tribes of the earth mourn: and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with much power and majesty.	30 Entonces aparecerá en el cielo la señal del Hijo del hombre; y entonces se golpearán el pecho todas las razas de la tierra y verán al Hijo del hombre venir sobre las nubes del cielo con gran poder y gloria.
31 And he shall send his angels with a trumpet, and a great voice: and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the farthest parts of the heavens to the utmost bounds of them.	31 El enviará a sus ángeles con sonora trompeta, y reunirán de los cuatro vientos a sus elegidos, desde un extremo de los cielos hasta el otro.
32 And from the fig tree learn a parable: When the branch thereof is now tender, and the leaves come forth, you know that summer is nigh.	32 «De la higuera aprended esta parábola: cuando ya sus ramas están tiernas y brotan las hojas, sabéis que el verano está cerca.
33 So you also, when you shall see all these things, know ye that it is nigh, even at the doors.	33 Así también vosotros, cuando veáis todo esto, sabed que El está cerca, a las puertas.
34 Amen I say to you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.	34 Yo os aseguro que no pasará esta generación hasta que todo esto suceda.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass, but my words shall not pass.	35 El cielo y la tierra pasarán, pero mis palabras no pasarán.
36 But of that day and hour no one knoweth, not the angels of heaven, but the Father alone.	36 Mas de aquel día y hora, nadie sabe nada, ni los ángeles de los cielos, ni el Hijo, sino sólo el Padre.
37 And as in the days of Noe, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.	37 «Como en los días de Noé, así será la venida del Hijo del hombre.
38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, even till that day in which Noe entered into the ark,	38 Porque como en los días que precedieron al diluvio, comían, bebían, tomaban mujer o marido, hasta el día en que entró Noé en el arca,
39 And they knew not till the flood came, and took them all away; so also shall the coming of the Son of man be.	39 y no se dieron cuenta hasta que vino el diluvio y los arrastró a todos, así será también la venida del Hijo del hombre.
40 Then two shall be in the field: one shall be taken, and one shall be left.	40 Entonces, estarán dos en el campo: uno es tomado, el otro dejado;
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill: one shall be taken, and one shall be left.	41 dos mujeres moliendo en el molino: una es tomada, la otra dejada.
42 Watch ye therefore, because ye know not what hour your Lord will come.	42 «Velad, pues, porque no sabéis qué día vendrá vuestro Señor.
43 But know this ye, that if the goodman of the house knew at what hour the thief would come, he would certainly watch, and would not suffer his house to be broken open.	43 Entendedlo bien: si el dueño de casa supiese a qué hora de la noche iba a venir el ladrón, estaría en vela y no permitiría que le horadasen su casa.
44 Wherefore be you also ready, because at what hour you know not the Son of man will come.	44 Por eso, también vosotros estad preparados, porque en el momento que no penséis, vendrá el Hijo del hombre.
45 Who, thinkest thou, is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath appointed over his family, to give them meat in season.	45 «¿Quién es, pues, el siervo fiel y prudente, a quien el señor puso al frente de su servidumbre para darles la comida a su tiempo?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom when his lord shall come he shall find so doing.	46 Dichoso aquel siervo a quien su señor, al llegar, encuentre haciéndolo así.
47 Amen I say to you, he shall place him over all his goods.	47 Yo os aseguro que le pondrá al frente de toda su hacienda.
48 But if that evil servant shall say in his heart: My lord is long a coming:	48 Pero si el mal siervo aquel se dice en su corazón: “Mi señor tarda”,
49 And shall begin to strike his fellow servants, and shall eat and drink with drunkards:	49 y se pone a golpear a sus compañeros y come y bebe con los borrachos,
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day that he hopeth not, and at an hour that he knoweth not:	50 vendrá el señor de aquel siervo el día que no espera y en el momento que no sabe,
51 And shall separate him, and appoint his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.	51 le separará y le señalará su suerte entre los hipócritas; allí será el llanto y el rechinar de dientes.
