1 In the first year of Cyrus king of the Persians, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremias might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of the Persians: and he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and in writing also, saying:	1 Και εν τω πρωτω ετει Κυρου του βασιλεως της Περσιας, δια να πληρωθη ο λογος του Κυριου ο δια στοματος του Ιερεμιου, διηγειρεν ο Κυριος το πνευμα του Κυρου βασιλεως της Περσιας, και διεκηρυξε δι' ολου του βασιλειου αυτου, και μαλιστα εγγραφως, λεγων,
2 Thus saith Cyrus king of the Persians: The Lord the God of heaven hath given to me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he hath charged me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judea.	2 Ουτω λεγει Κυρος η βασιλευς της Περσιας? παντα τα βασιλεια της γης εδωκεν εις εμε Κυριος ο Θεος του ουρανου? και αυτος προσεταξεν εις εμε να οικοδομησω εις αυτον οικον εν Ιερουσαλημ, ητις ειναι εν τη Ιουδαια?
3 Who is there among you of all his people? His God be with him. Let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Jndert, and build the house of the Lord the God of Israel: he is the God that is in Jerusalem.	3 τις εξ υμων ειναι εκ παντος του λαου αυτου; ο Θεος αυτου εστω μετ' αυτου, και ας αναβη εις Ιερουσαλημ, ητις ειναι εν τη Ιουδαια, και ας οικοδομηση τον οικον Κυριου του Θεου του Ισραηλ? αυτος ειναι ο Θεος ο εν Ιερουσαλημ?
4 And let all the restin all places wheresoever they dwell, help him every man from his place. with silver and gold, and goods, and cattle, besides that which they offer freely to the temple of God, which is in Jerusalem.	4 παντα δε απολειπομενον, εκ παντων των τοπων, οπου παροικει, ας βοηθησωσιν αυτον οι ανδρες του τοπου αυτου με αργυριον και με χρυσιον και με αγαθα και με κτηνη, εκτος της προαιρετικης προσφορας δια τον οικον του Θεου, τον εν Ιερουσαλημ.
5 Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Juda and Benjamin, and the priests, and Levites, and every one whose spirit God had raised up, to go up to build the temple of the Lord, which was in Jerusalem.	5 Τοτε εσηκωθησαν οι αρχηγοι των πατριων του Ιουδα και του Βενιαμιν και οι ιερεις και οι Λευιται, μετα παντων οσων το πνευμα διηγειρεν ο Θεος εις το να αναβωσι δια να οικοδομησωσι τον οικον του Κυριου, τον εν Ιερουσαλημ?
6 And all they that were round about, helped their hands with vessels of silver, and gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with furniture, besides what they had offered on their own accord.	6 και παντες οι περιξ αυτων εβοηθησαν αυτους με σκευη αργυρα, με χρυσιον, με αγαθα και με κτηνη και με πολυτιμα πραγματα, εκτος πασων των προαιρετικων προσφορων.
7 And king Cyrus brought forth the vessels of the temple of the Lord, which Nabuchodonosor had taken from Jerusalem, and had put them in the temple of his god.	7 Και εξηγαγεν ο βασιλευς Κυρος τα σκευη του οικου του Κυριου, τα οποια ο Ναβουχοδονοσορ ειχε φερει απο Ιερουσαλημ και θεσει αυτα εν τω οικω του Θεου αυτου?
8 Now Cyrus king of Persia brought them forth by the hand of Mithridates the son of Gazabar, and numbered them to Sassabasar the prince of Juda.	8 και εξηγαγε ταυτα Κυρος ο βασιλευς της Περσιας δια χειρος του Μιθρεδαθ του θησαυροφυλακος, και ηριθμησεν αυτα εις τον Σασαβασσαρ τον αρχοντα της Ιουδαιας.
9 And this is the number of them: thirty bowls of gold, a thousand bowls of silver, nine and twenty knives, thirty cups of gold,	9 Και ουτος ειναι ο αριθμος αυτων? τριακοντα δισκοι χρυσοι, χιλιοι δισκοι αργυροι, εικοσιεννεα μαχαιραι,
10 Silver cups of a second sort, four hundred and ten: other vessels a thousand.	10 τριακοντα φιαλαι χρυσαι, τετρακοσιαι δεκα φιαλαι αργυραι δευτεραι, αλλα σκευη χιλια.
11 All the vessels of gold and silver, five thousand four hundred: all these Sassabasar brought with them that came up from the captivity of Babylon to Jerusalem.	11 Παντα τα σκευη τα χρυσα και αργυρα ησαν πεντακισχιλια και τετρακοσια? τα παντα ανεβιβασεν ο Σασαβασσαρ μετα των αιχμαλωτων των αναβιβασθεντων απο Βαβυλωνος εις Ιερουσαλημ.
