1 CANTATE al Signore un nuovo cantico; Cantate, o abitanti di tutta la terra, al Signore.	1 This is to David, when his land was restored to him. The Lord has reigned, let the earth exult. Let the many islands rejoice.
2 Cantate al Signore, benedite il suo Nome; Predicate di giorno in giorno la sua salute.	2 Clouds and mist are all around him. Justice and judgment are corrections from his throne.
3 Raccontate fra le genti la sua gloria, E le sue maraviglie fra tutti i popoli.	3 A fire will precede him, and it will enflame his enemies all around.
4 Perciocchè il Signore è grande, e degno di sovrana lode; Egli è tremendo sopra tutti gl’iddii.	4 His lightnings have enlightened the whole world. The earth saw, and it was shaken.
5 Perciocchè tutti gl’iddii de’ popoli sono idoli; Ma il Signore ha fatti i cieli.	5 The mountains flowed like wax before the face of the Lord, before the face of the Lord of all the earth.
6 Maestà e magnificenza sono davanti a lui; Forza e gloria sono nel suo santuario.	6 The heavens announced his justice, and all peoples saw his glory.
7 Date al Signore, o generazioni de’ popoli, Date al Signore gloria e forza.	7 May all those who adore graven images be confounded, along with those who glory in their false images. All you his Angels: Adore him.
8 Date al Signore la gloria dovuta al suo Nome; Portategli offerte, e venite ne’ suoi cortili.	8 Zion heard, and was glad. And the daughters of Judah exulted because of your judgments, O Lord.
9 Adorate il Signore nel magnifico santuario; Tremate, o abitanti di tutta la terra, per la sua presenza	9 For you are the Most High Lord over all the earth. You are greatly exalted above all gods.
10 Dite fra le genti: Il Signore regna; Il mondo sarà pure stabilito, e non sarà più smosso; Egli giudicherà i popoli in dirittura.	10 You who love the Lord: hate evil. The Lord watches over the souls of his holy ones. He will free them from the hand of the sinner.
11 Rallegrinsi i cieli, e gioisca la terra; Risuoni il mare, e quello ch’è in esso.	11 The light has risen for the just, and joy for the upright of heart.
12 Festeggi la campagna, e tutto quello ch’è in essa. Allora tutti gli alberi delle selve daranno voci d’allegrezza,	12 Rejoice in the Lord, you just ones, and confess to the memory of his sanctuary.
13 Nel cospetto del Signore; perciocchè egli viene, Egli viene per giudicar la terra; Egli giudicherà il mondo in giustizia, Ed i popoli nella sua verità
