1 Del maestro de coro. Con la cítara de Gat. Salmo de David.	1 [For the choirmaster On the . . . of Gath Psalm Of David] Yahweh our Lord, how majestic is your namethroughout the world! Whoever keeps singing of your majesty higher than the heavens,
2 ¡Señor, nuestro Dios, qué admirable es tu Nombre en toda la tierra! Quiero adorar tu majestad sobre el cielo:	2 even through the mouths of children, or of babes in arms, you make him a fortress, firm against yourfoes, to subdue the enemy and the rebel.
3 con la alabanza de los niños y de los más pequeños, erigiste una fortaleza contra tus adversarios para reprimir al enemigo y al rebelde.	3 I look up at your heavens, shaped by your fingers, at the moon and the stars you set firm-
4 Al ver el cielo, obra de tus manos, la luna y la estrellas que has creado:	4 what are human beings that you spare a thought for them, or the child of Adam that you care for him?
5 ¿qué es el hombre para que pienses en él, el ser humano para que lo cuides?	5 Yet you have made him little less than a god, you have crowned him with glory and beauty,
6 Lo hiciste poco inferior a los ángeles, lo coronaste de gloria y esplendor;	6 made him lord of the works of your hands, put al things under his feet,
7 le diste dominio sobre la obra de tus manos, todo lo pusiste bajo sus pies:	7 sheep and cattle, all of them, and even the wild beasts,
8 todos los rebaños y ganados, y hasta los animales salvajes;	8 birds in the sky, fish in the sea, when he makes his way across the ocean.
9 las aves del cielo, los peces del mar y cuanto surca los senderos de las aguas.	9 Yahweh our Lord, how majestic your name throughout the world!
10 ¡Señor, nuestro Dios, qué admirable es tu Nombre en toda la tierra!
