NEW JERUSALEM	Біблія
1 Yahweh said to Noah, 'Go aboard the ark, you and all your household, for you alone of yourcontemporaries do I see before me as an upright man.	1 Господь сказав до Ноя: Увійди ти і вся твоя родина в ковчег, бо тебе одного з цього роду побачив я праведним передо мною.
2 Of every clean animal you must take seven pairs, a male and its female; of the unclean animals youmust take one pair, a male and its female	2 Зо всякої чистої скотини візьмеш по семеро до себе, самців і самиць, а з нечистої скотини по парі, самця й самицю.
3 (and of the birds of heaven, seven pairs, a male and its female), to preserve their species throughoutthe earth.	3 З птаства піднебесного теж по семеро, самців і самиць, щоб зберегти живим насіння по всій землі.
4 For in seven days' time I shal make it rain on earth for forty days and forty nights, and I shall wipeevery creature I have made off the face of the earth.'	4 Ще бо сім днів, і я пошлю дощ на землю, сорок днів і сорок ночей, і вигублю з лиця землі всі сотворіння, що їх я створив.
5 Noah did exactly as Yahweh commanded him.	5 І зробив Ной усе, як велів йому Господь.
6 Noah was six hundred years old when the flood came, the waters over the earth.	6 Було ж Ноєві шістсот років, як стався потоп на землі.
7 Noah with his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives boarded the ark to escape the waters of the flood.	7 І ввійшов Ной, сини його, жінка його й жінки синів його з ним у ковчег перед потопом вод.
8 (Of the clean animals and the animals that are not clean, of the birds and all that creeps along theground,	8 З чистої скотини і з нечистої скотини, з птаства й зо всього, що повзає по землі,
9 one pair boarded the ark with Noah, one male and one female, as God had commanded Noah.)	9 прийшли до Ноя в ковчег по парі, самець і самиця, як велів Бог Ноєві.
10 Seven days later the waters of the flood appeared on earth.	10 І сталося, по семи днях хлинули води потопу на землю.
11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, and on the seventeenth day of themonth, that very day al the springs of the great deep burst through, and the sluices of heaven opened.	11 На шістсотім році Ноєвого віку, другого місяця, сімнадцятого дня місяця, — цього дня прорвались усі джерела великої безодні й небесні загати розімкнулись,
12 And heavy rain fel on earth for forty days and forty nights.	12 і лив дощ на землю — сорок днів і сорок ночей.
13 That very day Noah and his sons Shem, Ham and Japheth boarded the ark, with Noah's wife and thethree wives of his sons,	13 Того ж самого дня ввійшов Ной і Сим, Хам та Яфет, сини Ноя, його жінка і три жінки його синів з ним у ковчег,
14 and with them every species of wild animal, every species of cattle, every species of creeping thingsthat creep along the ground, every species of bird, everything that flies, everything with wings.	14 вони — і всякого роду звірі, всякого роду скот, всякого роду земні плазуни, всіляке птаство і все, що має крила.
15 One pair of al that was alive and had the breath of life boarded the ark with Noah,	15 Увійшло до Ноя в ковчег по парі всякого створіння, в якому віддих життя.
16 and those that went aboard were a male and female of all that was alive, as God had commandedhim. Then Yahweh shut him in.	16 Ті, що ввійшли, були самець і самиця з усякого створіння, як велів йому Бог, і Господь зачинив його.
17 The flood lasted forty days on earth. The waters swelled, lifting the ark until it floated off the ground.	17 І був потоп на землі сорок днів; води, прибуваючи, підняли ковчег, і він звишився над землею.
18 The waters rose, swel ing higher above the ground, and the ark drifted away over the waters.	18 Води ж зростали, і прибуло їх дуже багато на землю, а ковчег носився по верху вод.
19 The waters rose higher and higher above the ground until al the highest mountains under the wholeof heaven were submerged.	19 І зросли води на землі сильно дуже й укрили всі найвищі гори, що були під небом.
20 The waters reached their peak fifteen cubits above the submerged mountains.	20 Води піднялись угору на п’ятнадцять ліктів і закрили гори.
21 And al living things that stirred on earth perished; birds, cattle, wild animals, all the creaturesswarming over the earth, and all human beings.	21 Всяке створіння, що рухається на землі загинуло: птаство, скот, звірі, всі плазуни, що повзають на землі, і всі люди.
22 Everything with the least breath of life in its nostrils, everything on dry land, died.	22 Все, що має віддих життя в ніздрях та що живе на суші, згинуло.
23 Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out, people, animals, creeping things and birds;they were wiped off the earth and only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.	23 Ось так вигинуло всяке створіння, що було на землі: люди, скот, плазуни і птаство піднебесне — їх вигублено з землі; остався тільки Ной та й ті, що були з ним у ковчезі.
24 The waters maintained their level on earth for a hundred and fifty days.	24 І панували води на землі сто п’ятдесят днів.
